Mark is a vowed Benedictine (his religious name is Br. Frederick-James). He has been practicing and teaching Ancient and modern forms of meditation, contemplation, mindfulness, prayer, and Christian mysticism for many years. Mark has spent 30yrs in multi-faith settings and holds to a unitive understanding of God and faith. His work helps people awaken to the reality of God in their day-to-day lives through developing their awareness of what Jesus called “the kingdom of God”.

I greatly enjoyed this course. I've been working on my contemplative prayer practice since 2018. It's been very helpful to think about praying like a ....poppy, mountain etc. Also I had a turtledove pair move in this spring so the cooing was very real and sweet. It's a consistent challenge to explain to others what it is I "do" vis a vis other forms of prayer or traditional eastern informed meditation, so the epilogue here so very helpful in parsing some of this. Your IT content was recommended by Maria Gullo in one of the Sunday sessions I attend. I look forward to listening to your other courses and tracks. Thank yiu!
