Good morning everybody.

My name is Monica Zans and this is Meditations with Monica.

I'm excited to be here again with you today.

This is day two of guided meditations and in a time when there are so many things going on in our world,

In our lives,

In our minds,

In our hearts,

It's important to pause for a moment and enjoy this time together.

So I want you to take just a moment as we welcome people in to get comfortable,

To find a place where you can lie or sit quietly,

Free and void of distractions,

And begin to find your way into your body.

Begin to find your way inside of yourself.

If you are sitting or lying in a seated or lying position,

Just begin to feel the seat beneath you or the ground beneath your body so that you can enjoy this moment and this time.

And you can begin to also gently let your eyelids close and begin to take some slow deep breaths in.

In through your nose,

Holding at the top for a count of three,

And then gently releasing out of your mouth.

And as you do so,

Just finding your way inside and finding your way into that heart space where your loving,

Your truth,

Your guidance,

Your inner wisdom is.

So we welcome you,

We're happy to have you here,

We're happy to welcome you to this community of people that are loving and kind,

Generous,

And open to receiving that which is for the highest good.

So we're going to begin the intention of today's meditation is to find a space of truth,

A space of truth.

So let's begin.

Again if you're just joining us,

We welcome you.

Go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable seated or laying position,

Taking a deep breath in through your nose,

Holding at the top for three,

And out through your mouth.

Just allowing your body to show you,

To guide you,

To comfort you,

To hold you.

And notice for a moment as we begin this journey together what you may be feeling,

Checking in with your emotional body.

We are made of different parts of ourselves,

Different awarenesses,

And we call those different awarenesses our different bodies.

We have our physical body and what we feel inside of ourselves.

We have our mental body and what we think and the thoughts that will roll by.

We have our emotional body and what we feel inside of our heart.

And we have our spiritual body,

That which is so much bigger and broader than what we are.

So I ask you to check in right now with your emotional body.

How are you feeling?

Take a moment to take some inventory on where you're at right now.

Always remembering to bring your attention to your breath as you do so.

Very nice.

This is a time to be gentle with yourself,

To begin to tune in and know yourself,

To hold for what you are,

To nourish and nurture yourself.

Imagining a waterfall pouring down over your head,

Washing away all that is ready to be released.

Any anxiety,

Uneasiness,

Uncertainty,

Any fear,

Any limitation of any kind.

Just allowing yourself to feel the rush and coolness of the water,

Washing away all that doesn't serve.

Washing over your head,

Down your face and neck.

Feel the cold chill as it goes down your shoulders and spine,

Down your arms and out your fingers,

Down your hips and legs,

And finally back into the earth below you.

And just feel what it feels like to allow things to move through you,

To not hold on,

To not need it to be any kind of way,

But just simply allowing yourself to be with yourself in this moment.

And take a deep breath in again.

Now I want you to bring your awareness into your breath,

Allowing your breath to guide you.

With each breath you're going to witness it swirling,

It moving.

Where does your breath go?

What does it look like?

How does it feel?

Just gently breathe and notice whatever it is that you notice.

This is a space of allowing.

Knowing that your truth is within you,

Your inner awareness,

Your inner guidance,

The spaces where you know exactly what to do,

You know exactly how to do them.

You feel perfectly supported,

Loved,

Cherished.

Notice how your breath dances and flows.

Notice if it has a color.

It's very good.

Very,

Very good.

Taking another deep breath in,

Holding at the top and allowing the space around your heart to open and expand and gently release.

You are the creator of this life.

You are the creator of the thoughts that you think,

Of the feelings that you feel.

So I want you to find yourself in one of your most favorite spaces in the world.

What's around you?

See what there is to see.

Smell what there is to smell.

Feel what there is to feel.

Notice what you feel like inside when you're in this favorite space of yours.

Do you feel comforted?

Do you feel expansive?

Do you feel ready to take something on?

Do you feel nourished?

Just bask in this moment,

Giving yourself whatever you need to be here now.

This is the practice of being gentle,

Of being kind,

Of having compassion for yourself.

That's right.

And now I want you to notice something is coming towards you.

It's like a small,

Small light.

And as it comes closer to you,

What do you feel inside of yourself?

This light is nothing to fear.

This light is bringing wisdom to you.

But I want you to notice its presence coming towards you.

Notice that as it gets closer and closer,

It begins to take shape and form.

It begins to have features that become familiar to you.

Maybe it's someone that you love.

Maybe it's someone that's passed on.

Maybe it's someone you admire and look up to.

But they come before you and their glow is just washing again through you,

Allowing you to feel yourself and feel whatever emotions you may be feeling.

Maybe you're feeling sadness.

Maybe you're feeling deep love.

Just notice whatever feelings come forward as this presence and being comes to you.

And they come and sit beside you now.

You're facing each other,

Looking eye to eye,

Smiling,

Taking in their kindness,

Their look of concern,

Their look of care for you.

They are your biggest champion.

They are your greatest cheerleader.

They are someone who has wisdom.

They are someone who has guided you through something maybe in your life.

And I want you to sit across from them.

And they're going to share with you something that is their wisdom to impart onto you.

And the only thing you are to do is to just simply sit with them and listen and absorb.

It may be the absorbing of energy.

Maybe the absorbing of witnessing something that they're capable of that you long to be having.

Or it may be a message.

Maybe it's something like,

You're okay.

This too shall pass.

All is well.

Peace be still.

You know yourself.

It's time to release anything that doesn't serve.

So just sit now and for a few moments simply listen and connect,

Allowing their truth to be shared with you.

Very good.

Keep being with yourself in this moment,

Allowing whatever emotions come forward to come forward.

Allowing whatever thoughts to come forward come forward.

Allowing whatever it is for you to receive to come forward.

Being open to receiving whatever is intended for you for your highest good.

And now imagine that you place your hands out in front of you and you receive a gift.

Is it a crystal?

Is it a stone?

Is it a picture?

What is the gift that you now receive into your hands and what does it symbolize?

Is it a reminder to stay grounded?

Is it a reminder to be grateful?

Is it a reminder to have compassion?

Is it a reminder that you're loved and that you are receiving even in a time of need?

What is this gift for you?

And if you can bring your breath back into your heart space,

Allowing your heart to receive this gift as well.

Being in this moment with yourself and noticing what does it look like and feel like to fully receive.

Nothing to do,

Nowhere to be,

Simply being open to receiving.

Allowing the truth of who you are and how you can use this gift out in the world today to become very clear for you now.

You have so much clarity.

You have so much courage.

You have so much creativity to take on this beautiful,

Wonderful day.

You know exactly what to do with this gift.

You know where to plant it inside of yourself so that you have access to it all day.

And now take a moment and set an intention for your day.

What is this day for you?

What will you bring to the planet?

What will you bring to yourself?

Imagine that now.

Very good.

Very good.

And when you're complete with today's meditation,

You may take a moment to write that intention down,

To share that gratitude,

To pay it forward in a time when we're feeling isolated or separate.

Connecting with people is the greatest gift we have to give people.

So remember throughout the day today your breath.

Bring your heart now to your hands now to your heart space.

Feel the warmth of your hands,

The reassurance of your hands on your heart.

Feel your preciousness.

Feel your supportiveness.

Know that you are not alone,

That all is well,

And that you are okay.

Know that everything today is an opportunity for growth and learning,

An opportunity to share whatever you feel.

And a continued opportunity to receive.

Taking one final deep breath in through your nose,

Ever so gently holding at the top and exhaling again gently.

When you're ready,

Flutter your eyelids open.

Bring your heart,

Your hands in the prayer position at your heart space,

Bowing your head to yourself for the great unknown.

The light in me acknowledges and sees and honors the light in you.

And together we say Namaste.
