Close your eyes,
Take a deep breath,
Imagine yourself standing before a vast,
Dark abyss.
This is the void,
The womb of creation.
With each breath,
Imagine peeling away a layer of yourself,
An identity,
A role,
Or a belief you no longer need.
With each layer you pull and release and unwind,
Unshackle,
Visualize it dissolving into the void.
Know that you are safe as you step fully into the darkness.
Step fully into the dark light of the womb.
Here,
There is no time,
No identity,
Only stillness.
Breathe deeply and let the void hold you.
Continuing to peel and feel layers and burdens,
Release shackles unchained,
Old roots ripped from the earth for new fertile growth.
Let the void hold you and bathe you in the sweet nectar of warmth and love.
Tending and soothing,
Balming those spots,
Wounds,
And tender rawness of where those layers once lived.
Let the void hold you so that you can feel into the tenderness,
Feel into the heaviness,
Feel into the lightness of release.
Feel and coming home to this allowing and surrender into this fertile darkness where all that is unnecessary falls away.
Leaving you with the pure essence of your being.
You can stay here as long as you need,
Knowing that you are safe and held.
And when you feel complete and ready to emerge,
Imagine a faint light within the void,
Symbolizing your rebirth.
When you are ready to emerge,
Follow this light out,
Caring only what feels true.
Whenever you feel the need to be supported by this void,
This womb,
This black light of release and surrender.
Whenever you feel the need of leaving what is unnecessary behind,
Know that the void is here to hold you.
Follow that faint light within the void,
Be reborn,
And breathe into what feels true.
