Today we're going on a journey inside of our hearts to discover a very special flower,

The gratitude flower.

Find a cozy spot to sit down or lie back and gently close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and out,

Preparing our hearts for a journey of gratitude.

With each breath you take,

Imagine walking through a magical garden inside of your heart.

This garden is full of the most beautiful flowers,

But there's one spot that's just waiting for a new flower to grow.

That's where we'll plant our gratitude flower.

In your hand,

You see a shining seed.

This seed will grow into your gratitude flower.

Plant the seed in a special spot in your heart garden.

Each part of this flower represents something you're grateful for about yourself.

Now imagine a gentle stream of light watering the seed.

This light is made of your breath and your love,

And as you breathe in and out,

You see the seed beginning to grow and sprout.

It's starting to grow because of your care and your gratitude.

Watch as the first petal blooms.

This petal represents a part of your personality that you're thankful for.

Maybe it's your kindness,

Your creativity,

Or your bravery.

Whisper to this petal what you're grateful for.

See it glow brighter with your gratitude.

Another petal begins to open.

This one stands for something you're good at.

Perhaps it's drawing,

Or singing,

Or being a good friend.

Acknowledge this talent and feel the petal bloom fully with your appreciation.

A third petal unfolds,

Representing the love you give and receive.

Think of the love from your family,

Friends,

Or pets.

Feel this petal bloom with the warmth of all the love in your life.

More petals continue to open,

Each one for something different you're thankful for about who you are.

That could be your sense of humor,

Your ability to listen,

Or your courage to try new things.

With each breath,

More petals bloom,

Filling your heart garden with vibrant colors.

Take a moment to admire your gratitude flower.

Each petal a reminder of what makes you special and loved.
