Good evening.
It's time to relax our body and find a deep,
Peaceful rest.
As you're laying down to go to bed this evening,
I want you to imagine tightening up your entire body,
Every part of your body until it's super tight,
And then releasing it into the bed,
Relaxing it,
Letting it go.
I want you to do it again.
I want you to tighten everything up,
All the way up,
Tighten everything up,
Up,
Up,
Up,
Almost holding your breath,
And then relax and release.
Let your breath go and your body relax as it softens into the bed.
Let's do it one more time.
Let's tense up the entire body,
Tighten it up,
Tighten it up,
Tighten it up,
Hold,
Hold your breath and let it go.
This time,
Becoming one with the bed,
Your body just sinking completely into it,
The rest of the day being let go.
I want you to imagine bringing all of the pieces of you back into your body,
Everything you gave away to other people.
Bring it back so that you feel healthy and happy and whole and disconnected from the people at work,
Your kids,
Your friends,
Your family,
Your spouse,
Your parents,
Whoever you gave all your energy to,
Bring your energy all the way back into your heart,
Feeling whole in your body.
Take a couple more deep breaths,
Releasing the stress of the day.
I want you to imagine releasing all the pieces you're holding on to for other people,
All that weight on your shoulders,
All the emotions you felt for other people,
Releasing guilt,
Releasing their pain,
Releasing their projections and expectations.
Let it go.
Let it ebb and flow in and out like the ocean,
Just like your breath.
Your breath comes in and your breath goes out.
All the weight you carry goes out with your breath.
Love comes in.
Self love comes in.
The connection to everything comes in as you sense and feel peace entering your body.
Everywhere you're letting go of something negative,
You're replacing it with hope.
You're replacing it with love.
You're replacing it with anything that makes you feel good.
I want you to come up with one thing that was really the best thing about your day.
It could be something simple.
It could have been a perfect sunset.
It could have been a moment of success.
It could have been a handheld on the couch.
Take one thing and just remember that thing that was awesome about your day and send it love.
I want you to take a moment and I want you to be grateful.
Take a moment of just being grateful for the things that are happening in your life,
The things that are coming in your life,
Maybe the people that are in your life.
Take a deep breath and exhale everything you're holding onto that creates energy,
Stressful energy.
Just imagine filling yourself up like you're inside a snow globe and the snow globe is shaking around you and the snow is going through your body and that snow is taking out all the dark pieces out of your body,
Releasing any aches and pain,
Releasing any anger,
Judgment,
Releasing all the things you wish you had done differently today and saying to yourself,
Tomorrow is going to be a good day.
Set the intention that tomorrow is going to be a good day.
Set the intention that tonight you're going to rest peacefully,
Fully,
Embraced in healing sleep and that you wake up exactly when you need to wake up,
Renewed,
Restored,
Feeling vital,
Energized and excited.
If there's any sadness,
Grief or depression,
Imagine putting it in a pink bubble and letting it go.
If there's anyone you held anger,
Frustration with today,
Put it in a pink bubble and let it go.
If there's someone who's angry or frustrated or mad at you,
Imagine sending that person unconditional love.
Allow the weight of the world to fall off your shoulders.
Imagine sinking into the bed,
Sinking into the darkness,
Sinking into sleep.
