My name is Michelle Joy and this meditation is an affirmation meditation.
So making yourself comfortable either sitting or laying down.
And take a nice deep breath.
Breathing in deeply.
And letting go with the exhalation.
And going again breathing in nice and deep.
See if you can breathe all the way down to the bottom of your lungs to your lower ribs.
Feel that expansion.
And then try to add some length to your exhalation.
Maybe a nice long sigh.
Breathing in.
Feel the expansion in your chest and your lungs.
Breathing deeper.
And letting go for your body to relax and let out a nice long exhale.
And you're welcome to continue on this breath.
Increasing the inhalation and increasing the exhalation.
Or you can just come into your own rhythm of breath.
It's up to you.
Just allow your body to relax.
Allow your mind to settle.
Feeling yourself turning inwards.
And reconnecting to your true self,
Your inner self.
Feel yourself relaxing with each breath that you take.
Feel your body melting with every exhale you let go of.
In your mind I just want you to repeat these words after me.
You can say them out loud if you choose.
But there's no need.
Just repeating the words after me.
I am enough.
I am worthy.
I am love.
I am lovable.
I am a being of energy.
I am not this body.
I am symptom free.
I am able.
I am healthy.
Taking a big deep breath whenever you need to.
Relaxing your mind and bringing your awareness inwards once again.
Still repeating the words after me.
I am not my thoughts.
I have choices in what I believe.
I have choices in my thoughts.
I am free from negative thinking.
I have an open mind and an open heart.
I am not my emotions.
I have choices in my feelings.
I have the freedom to feel what I need and want to feel.
I am happy.
I do not feel the need to fight or defend.
I am safe.
I am limitless.
I am safe within this world.
I simply can be.
I am accepted.
I am appreciated.
I am valued.
I am acknowledged.
And breathe.
Come back to yourself.
Back to the words still repeating after me.
I am confident.
I am free.
I am motivated.
I am inspired.
I am inspiring.
I am connected to me.
I have faith.
I am connected to the divine,
To the universe or to God.
I am grounded.
I am centered.
I am complete.
I am beautiful.
I am healed.
I am alive.
I am present.
I am.
I am.

I am me.
And I am right here,
Right now,
Within this body,
Experiencing a beautiful life.
And if you want,
You can place a hand onto your chest,
Onto your heart,
Taking in a nice deep breath.
And letting go of the exhalation when it feels comfortable for you.
Repeating the words again.
I am.

Within this body,
Experiencing a beautiful life.
Taking another deep breath and opening up your eyes.
Still remaining nice and relaxed.
But just slowly opening up your eyes.
And not focusing in on the room around you.
Just softly opening your eyes.
Being present in this moment.
And repeating the words again.
I am.

I am me.
And I am right here,
Right now,
Within this body,
Experiencing a beautiful life.

And then when you're really relaxing your hand down,
Taking in a nice deep breath,
Rolling your shoulders,
Wiggling your toes,
Moving your fingers,
Trying to bring that movement back into your body.
Maybe blinking a couple of times.
And breathing.
