Take a slow breath in and exhale slowly.
Feel your shoulders relax,
Your jaw soften,
Your belly open to the breath.
There is nothing you need to do right now,
Nothing you need to figure out.
For these next few minutes you do not need to be available to anyone,
Just be here.
Take one more slow breath in and arrive here a little more fully.
Now imagine that you are walking along a quiet path at the end of the day.
The evening light is warm and fading.
The air is still.
Tall grass moves at the sides of the path.
Somewhere nearby you can hear birds settling for the evening.
A little further ahead you see a house.
It is small,
Warm and deeply familiar.
There is a wooden bench near the entrance.
Climbing roses around the porch.
A soft glow in one of the windows.
You know right away that this is your house,
Your inner home,
The place inside you where your energy belongs.
You walk toward it slowly and as you get closer you notice that the front door is open.
You stop for a moment and standing there you can feel it.
Too much movement in and out.
Too much leaving.
Too much entering.
Too many things crossing the threshold of your space.
Stand there for a moment and notice what that feels like in your body.
Now step inside.
The house is still beautiful but you can feel that too much has been left open for too long.
In one room a window is open and the curtains are moving with the wind.
The room feels unsettled.
In another a lamp is still burning as if energy has been going there for hours without rest.
On a table nearby a drawer has been left half open.
Papers spilling out.
Letters unfolded.
Small unfinished things everywhere.
The feeling that too much is still waiting for you.
Then you come to another room.
Here there is a pile of bags and coats that do not belong to you.
Things someone else left behind.
Things you have been carrying anyway.
And as you stand there you understand what this room holds.
Emotional weight.
Other people's needs.
Other people's expectations.
Conversations that stayed with you too long.
The habit of being there for everyone.
Helping too much.
Understanding too much.
Saying yes too often.
Walk slowly through the house.
There is nothing you need to change yet.
Just notice what has been draining you.
What has been left open.
What does not belong here anymore.
And little by little you begin to understand what happens when too much of your energy has been living outside yourself.
Take a breath.
Now begin restoring the house.
Start with the open window.
Walk over to it and close it.
Feel the change right away.
The room grows quieter.
The air becomes still.
And inside you something begins to settle too.
It is easier to hear yourself when everything from the outside is not rushing in at once.
Now walk to the lamp that has been left on too long.
Turn it off.
Feel what changes in your body.
Your inner tension begins to ease.
Then walk to the table.
Gather the papers,
The letters,
The unfinished things and place them back into the drawer.
You do not need to deal with everything right now.
You do not need to keep every loose end alive in your mind.
Now close the drawer and feel what that does inside you.
Now walk into the heavier room.
Look at the bags and coats that were left there.
And one by one pick them up and place them on a wooden chest.
As you do recognize what they represent.
The pressure to be everything for everyone.
The expectation to keep peace.
The habit of explaining yourself.
The urge to rescue,
Fix,
Carry,
Absorb.
None of it has to stay in your hands.
You can just leave it there.
Walk through the house one more time.
See if there is anything else that needs your attention.
Anything still left open.
Anything that has been pulling at your energy.
Anything that no longer belongs in your space.
Take your time and put it back where it belongs.
And when you are ready walk back to the front door.
Stand there with your hand on it for a moment.
Then close it.
Not because you are shutting life out but because your space is yours.
And not everything gets full access to it.
Feel that.
Now the house feels different.
Calmer.
Clearer.
More protected.
And in your body you may already begin to feel the change.
More breath.
More strength.
Now sit down somewhere inside the house.
In a chair.
On a sofa.
Near the window.
Wherever it feels good to rest.
And from here let your attention move into your life.
Notice all the places where your energy has been left behind.
In draining conversations.
In overthinking.
In worry.
In trying to be good.
In always being available.
In saying yes when you meant no.
In trying to make everything okay for everyone.
In roles you kept playing long after they stopped feeling true.
Now say to yourself,
My energy belongs with me.
It returns to me now.
And now feel your energy beginning to return.
As you breathe,
See fine streams of warm golden light coming back to you.
Little by little they make their way back.
They come back from people.
From situations.
From the past.
From all the places where your energy has been tied up for too long.
Watch them return.
Coming back into the house.
Back into you.
Into your chest.
Your belly.
Your throat.
Your hands.
Your legs.
Your face.
Take a deeper breath in.
And notice what changes as your energy comes back.
Your chest opens.
Your body feels warmer.
Your breath deepens.
Your mind becomes clearer.
You're no longer scattered in so many directions.
Your strength is coming back.
Your presence returns.
Your energy is with you again.
Stay here for a moment.
And receive it.
Now notice how different the house feels.
The air is calm.
The rooms are in order.
Nothing is pulling at you from every direction.
And now notice how different you feel inside this space.
More rested.
More present.
More grounded.
More content.
Your body feels calmer but also stronger.
There is more space inside your chest.
More ease in your breath.
More clarity in your mind.
And maybe what you feel most is that you're back with yourself.
Place one hand on your chest and one on your belly.
And inwardly say my energy belongs with me.
I do not need to give it away all the time.
I can choose where it goes.
I can protect my space.
I can stay with myself.
Take a breath and feel those words in your body.
When you are ready,
Stand up slowly.
Look around the house one more time.
The windows are closed.
The front door is closed.
The rooms are clear.
The air feels fresh.
There is more life in the house now.
And there is more life in you too.
Walk toward the door.
This time,
When you open it,
You're not stepping back into life,
Scattered and drained,
But with more of yourself.
You open the door and step outside.
The evening air feels fresh.
The past is still there in front of you.
And the house behind you feels alive in a different way now.
The air around it feels warmer.
The quiet is deeper.
There is a soft scent of roses near the porch.
And the flowers seem fuller now,
More open,
More alive.
Even the light from the window feels different.
As if the whole house can finally breathe again.
And as you stand there,
You realise that you feel different too.
Lighter because you are caring less.
Calmer because less is pulling at you.
Stronger because your energy is back with you.
Take one slow breath in.
And exhale slowly.
Feel yourself here with yourself.
And when you are ready,
Begin to return to the room around you,
To your physical body,
To this moment.
And carry this feeling with you.
That your energy is coming back.
That your space matters.
And that each time you choose yourself,
You return a little more deeply to who you are.
Thank you for being here.
For coming back to yourself.
And for coming back home.
Www.
Mooji.
