Anyone in need? Bringing attention to the lower structures of the body can really help to ground our energy. When we tune in to a felt sense of support from the natural forces of the earth; gravity and magnetism, we can experience our connection to the earth and its unique qualities. Receive what the earth element has to offer you; a nurturing, rooted, solid base of support.

Make sure you're comfortable.

Not only just comfortable,

But supported in the best way possible for you right now.

If you need to make any adjustments,

Take the time to do so.

Tuning into your physical needs and responding to what is needed is a way of practicing self-care and self-compassion.

Ask yourself,

Is there anything that could help me feel even just 10% more comfortable?

Even just 10% more supported right now?

If anything comes to mind that is possible for you to adjust,

Go ahead.

Offer it to yourself.

Could be as simple as an extra blanket or maybe a pillow.

Or even just changing the position of your legs or your arms,

Readjusting your spine.

It would be best if the shape that you are in feels sustainable without too much of your effort.

Now bring attention to your feet,

Wherever they are.

Notice what they're in contact with.

Where are they touching a surface and where are they not?

Remind yourself that there's nothing to fix unless the inner impulse to shift is there.

We are simply noticing where our feet are,

What they might be touching and not touching.

Now notice your shins,

The front of your shins,

The back,

The insides of your shins and the outsides.

Notice if they're in contact with a surface or a structure or not.

Notice your thighs,

The topsides,

The insides,

The outer thighs and the backside of the thighs.

Then you feel the entire surface area of both of your thighs and where they meet an external object if anywhere.

Send your attention to your pelvis,

This incredible base for your trunk and your entire upper body to rest on.

Notice if your pelvis is able to just settle into the earth simply by bringing your attention to this area of your body.

Notice the bottom of the pelvis,

The backside of the pelvis,

The front side and the outer surfaces of the pelvis.

Staying with any and all sensations of where your pelvis is supported and how the pelvis offers support for your upper body.

Bringing our awareness to the lower structures of the body,

That can really help to ground our energy.

When we tune into a felt sense of support from the natural forces of the earth,

Gravity and magnetism,

We can experience our connection to the earth and its unique qualities.

See if you can receive what the earth element has to offer you right now.

This nourishing,

Nurturing,

Rooted base of support.

You might even like to imagine roots or a cord from the bottom of your pelvis connecting right down to the center of the earth.

This body comes from the earth.

Notice if this allows for your nervous system to settle and if this experience is allowing you to steady yourself.

Trust that you can return to this place over and over again.
