Bullying has a way of building inner strength. Human beings are some of the most resilient creatures on the planet. From pain comes growth, from damage comes repair and thankfully from insult comes revenge. It is our work to convert harm to healing. Likely, we become someone different from who we were, dissociating from the painful experience, shedding the darkness and transmuting into health, light and love. Befriend your inner bully and soften the blows by accepting your flAWSOMEness!

Welcome.

Om Bites.

Today's meditation is going to focus on the subject of bullying and how we can make that our buddy.

Bullying is not good.

There are so many turnaround stories from someone who was bullied and who they became because of this bully.

I'm not promoting bullies.

I am promoting transmutation out of situations.

So come to your comfortable seat.

Allow your body to drop into deep rest and relaxation all but for your head which remains supported upright by your spine.

And if you feel safe and comfortable you're welcome to close your eyes or cast your gaze downward to something non-moving.

So we're going to turn a bully into a buddy.

Whether the actual bully becomes your buddy or whether the evil from the bully transmutes you into an empowered and strengthened person.

Either way we're seeking positive outcomes.

So as you begin to ready yourself for meditation drop into your bones rest your body.

Take a big belly breath in and a long and easeful breath out.

And we begin with the sound of the cymbal and conclude the same way.

So I can envision a couple of boys brawling,

Fighting,

Activated by their high levels of testosterone and they may fight,

Brawl,

Throw some punches,

Get down on the ground and get scrappy.

And before you know it they're standing arm in arm walking away from the scene of the fight sharing stories and becoming the best of friends.

Laughing,

Light,

Carrying on.

Let's elevate our minds,

Elevate our constitutions to disarm the bully.

The very best way to diffuse the intensity of the assaulting bully is to not let it get to you.

Cardinal rule of the four agreements do not take anything personally.

The bully is the one who is troubled.

He she needs compassion and love.

It is not your job to be the vehicle for this bully's outlet and release.

It is your job not to fire up the bully any further by doing your own work of walking away disarming the bully and bringing levity to the situation.

And guess what?

How many of us are walking around with a bully in our own brain chirping negative negative words self-sabotaging words limiting beliefs casting non-verbal judgment out into the world.

If you've ever noticed when you're judging someone else and when they just stand in a state of peaceful serenity the judging voice ceases to chirp and if we could turn that same response inward when the judging voice is aimed at self self just continues to float along not engage not go the way of the downward spiraling voice command remain lifted press down through your feet and stand taller in the face of the bully.

You are strong you are capable and you are also very soft and this practice of meditation softens your softness strengthens your strongness and finds the perfect harmonious balance between the two giving you freedom to act upon each in the very right moment.

Where did you go?

Notice if your physical body is tensing up to protect in this moment you are safe in this moment you are free to expand take up more space in this moment you are able to receive and be loved.

Pause for this grand grand action.

In this moment you are able to rise above and look down at troubled little bullies and see with open arms and open heart and open mind the greater picture from your wise perspective and see into your own mind the chirping little bully notice it for what it is and snuff out the voice and breathe life into the self-affirming voice breathe life into life affirming sensations in your body and snuff out the tightening oppressive sensations in your body take a big belly breath in and a long and soothing breath out.

Namaste.
