A visualization meditation to help you create new neural pathways that will support you in the journey of creating your future self. If you are working towards healing, want to change patterns, and create new habits and ways of being, this meditation is for you. We start with an orienting practice to bring you back to the present moment and support your nervous system in feeling safe with the environment. Then we move towards connecting with your physical body, to ensure that you are grounded before moving into the visualization of the future version of yourself that you want to create.

Allow yourself to have this moment without thinking about what you did before or what you have to do next.

Remind yourself that you deserve to take time to heal,

Relax and disconnect.

You deserve this moment.

Start by slowly looking around the room,

Noticing the objects,

The colors,

The shapes,

The textures.

Allow yourself to notice where your attention is drawn to.

Be open,

Inquisitive and notice without judgment.

If it feels comfortable for you,

Slowly close your eyes.

Become aware of the weight of your body.

Notice the surface beneath you.

Let it hold you.

Notice any sounds around you with curiosity.

Become aware of your breath,

Noticing the expansion and the contraction of your breath without trying to change it or analyzing it.

Just allowing it to be just as it is.

Start visualizing the future version of yourself that you are creating,

That you are working towards to.

And while you do that,

Remember that it is possible to get there.

Who do you want to be?

How do you want to feel?

What do you want to think?

How do you want to interact with others?

How do you want to interact with yourself?

See in your mind's eye how you would start your day.

What would you do when you first wake up?

How would you walk through your day?

What things would you do?

What things would you say?

What would you think?

How would you take care of yourself?

See yourself moving through the day from morning till night.

How would you end your day?

I want you to remember that there's nothing wrong with who you are right now.

You are perfect just as you are.

This exercise is just a way of creating new neural pathways to support you in making the changes that feel aligned with you.

And now slowly start coming back to your body.

Notice the surface beneath you.

Notice the contact of your body with the surface beneath you.

Bring it back and allow it to hold you.

Become aware of your breath,

The movement of your body,

The expansion,

The contraction.

When you feel ready,

Open your eyes if they were closed and slowly start scanning your environment,

Becoming aware of it,

Noticing it with openness,

With curiosity.

Bring your hands to your heart and celebrate yourself for taking the time to sit,

Be silent and heal.
