Hello,

Hello beautiful souls,

And welcome to this guided meditation on forgiveness.

But more specifically,

The transformative practice of self-forgiveness.

Today,

We create space for a deep dive inward.

One where we'll acknowledge the weight self-judgment can place on our minds,

Bodies,

And spirits.

Whether it's regret over past decisions,

Guilt for things said or left unsaid,

Or even the harsh expectations we held ourselves to.

These burdens can be heavy,

And often they shape how we see ourselves,

And even how we live our lives.

Have you ever replayed a mistake in your mind over and over,

Wishing you could change what's already done?

Or carried a sense of guilt so deep that it's affected your confidence,

Relationships,

Or even your ability to feel joy?

These are the invisible weights we carry when we withhold forgiveness from ourselves.

This burden doesn't just affect our thoughts,

It impacts our entire being.

Studies have shown that holding onto guilt and self-blame can actually increase stress,

Lower self-esteem,

And even affect our physical health,

Causing tension,

Fatigue,

Or discomfort.

But even more than that,

It can dim our inner light,

Disconnecting us from the joy and freedom we truly deserve.

When we forgive ourselves,

We free our hearts to heal and invite self-love to flow more deeply.

It's not about forgetting the past,

Or even dismissing its lessons.

Rather,

It's about choosing to release the grip of judgment,

To offer ourselves compassion,

To move forward,

Lighter,

And more whole.

Self-forgiveness is a courageous act of love,

A gift that only you can give yourself.

And in doing so,

You create the space to fully embrace your humanity,

To let go of what no longer serves you,

And to align with your true,

Radiant self.

So,

Without further ado,

Let us begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down,

Whatever feels right for you in this moment.

You can also choose to close your eyes or even lower your gaze at this time.

I want you to take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly let it out through your mouth.

Let's take another deep breath in and out through our mouths,

Feeling the rise and fall of your chest as you breathe in and out.

One last deep breath in through our nose and out through our mouths.

Take a moment to feel the weight of your body on the surface beneath you,

Supported and grounded.

Begin to relax each part of your body,

Starting from the top of your head,

All the way down to your toes.

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming more present,

More at ease,

Allowing your mind to gently settle.

Breathe in deeply through your nose,

And as you exhale,

Release any tension left in your body.

Let go of any tightness,

Any heaviness you may be carrying.

You are safe in this moment.

You are allowed to be here fully,

Just as you are.

As you continue to breathe,

I want you to bring your awareness to the weight of self-judgment you may have been carrying.

This weight could be small,

Or it could feel vast.

Wherever it resides,

Give yourself permission to notice it.

Maybe it feels like a tightness gripping your chest,

A knot in your stomach,

Or an ache in your shoulders.

Sit with this feeling for a moment,

Not to fix it,

But to simply acknowledge it,

Without judgment,

Without resistance.

Now,

Visualize this burden as something tangible.

It might look like a heavy backpack,

A boulder pressing on your back,

Or chains wrapped around your body.

Whatever it appears as,

Let it take form in your mind's eye.

This weight represents the moments you've replayed endlessly.

The words you've said or left unsaid.

The times you believed you weren't good enough.

It represents the guilt,

The shame,

And the pain you've carried for far too long.

Take a moment to truly see this weight.

Notice its shape,

Its size,

Its texture.

Feel its presence and the space it occupies in your mind,

Your heart,

And your body.

It has been with you for a long time.

Woven into your story.

But I want you to know,

This weight does not define you.

It is not who you are.

It is a part of your story,

But it is not your whole story.

Now,

Bring your awareness to the concept of forgiveness.

Feel into the idea that forgiveness does not erase the past,

But rather,

It's a declaration that you will no longer allow your past to hold you prisoner.

Self-forgiveness is an act of re-imagining.

Reclaiming your power,

Your freedom,

And your worth.

With your next inhale,

Silently say to yourself,

I am worthy of forgiveness.

And as you exhale,

Silently say to yourself,

I release the weight of self-judgment.

Now,

Say them again with more conviction,

Or even aloud if it feels right.

I am worthy of forgiveness.

I release the weight of self-judgment.

Feel the power in these words,

And imagine each breath creating space within you.

Space for healing,

Compassion,

And freedom.

I am worthy of forgiveness.

I release the weight of self-judgment.

And now,

See this weight,

This burden you've carried for so long,

Beginning to lift.

With each exhale,

Imagine a piece of it dissolving,

Like the smoke of a flame rising and fading into the air.

Or perhaps it melts away,

Like ice under a warm sun,

Dripping and disappearing until there is nothing left.

Or maybe it crumbles like dry earth turning into dust and being swept away by a gentle breeze.

Watch as it becomes smaller,

Lighter,

Less a part of you with every breath.

And with each exhale,

Feel this weight fading,

Dissolving,

And releasing its hold on you,

Leaving only freedom and lightness in its place.

Allow yourself to truly feel this release.

You don't have to hold onto it anymore.

Let the guilt,

The shame,

And the regret just melt away.

Visualize this weight leaving your body entirely.

See it floating away,

Carried off by a gentle breeze far beyond the horizon,

Where it can no longer touch you.

Feel the space it leaves behind,

Space for you to fill with love,

With grace,

And with the deep knowing that you are free.

Now,

In your mind's eye,

Visualize yourself standing before a full-length mirror.

Slowly,

Take a step closer until your reflection becomes clear and vivid.

Look deeply into your own eyes,

The windows to your soul,

And truly see the person before you.

This is someone who has carried so much,

Tried so hard,

And given their best with the knowledge and tools they had at the time.

Allow yourself to acknowledge this with compassion and understanding.

As you continue gazing into your reflection,

Take a moment to truly see the person staring back at you,

Their struggles,

Their efforts,

Their humanity.

Recognize the strength it has taken to carry the weight of self-judgment,

And the courage it takes to let it go.

Now,

Gently speak to this reflection as if you are comforting a dear friend,

Someone you love deeply and unconditionally.

Say,

I forgive you.

It's okay.

You are allowed to make mistakes.

You are allowed to grow.

You are allowed to heal.

With each word,

Notice a warm golden light beginning to radiate from your reflection.

This light grows brighter,

Wrapping around you like a comforting embrace.

Feel its gentle warmth filling every part of you,

Spreading love,

Compassion,

And the freedom that comes with forgiveness.

Allow this light to infuse every corner of your being,

Leaving you enveloped in peace,

Acceptance,

And grace.

Let's take a deep,

Soothing breath in,

And as we exhale,

We release any remaining tension.

Take a moment to feel the subtle shift in your body,

The lightness,

The ease,

The softness that now fills every part of you.

You've released what no longer serves you,

And in its place,

There is a new sense of openness,

Of peace,

And self-compassion.

Let the warmth of forgiveness linger,

As if you are wrapped in a comforting embrace of love and acceptance.

And just know that you can always return to this state at any time,

And that you are worthy of this peace.

Self-forgiveness is not a single act,

It is a journey,

A practice of choosing love over judgment again and again.

Each time you return to this space,

You will release more,

Heal deeper,

And uncover the freedom that has always been waiting for you.

Now,

When you're ready,

Gently begin to bring your awareness back to the room around you.

Wiggle your toes,

Wiggle your fingers,

Reconnect with your body.

And when you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Carrying the sense of lightness,

And self-love with you into the rest of your day,

And many more days to come.

Remember,

Self-forgiveness is an act of self-love.

You are infinitely worthy of both.

Ashe,

Aho,

Amen,

And so it is,

My friends.
