This is a space to gently unwind your nervous system,

Give yourself permission to let go of the outside world and be fully supported right here in this moment.
You may begin by finding a comfortable position.
Allow your hands to rest softly and gently close your eyes or soften the gaze.
Take a slow deep breath in through your nose and exhale fully out through your mouth.
Inhale again deeply through the nose and release out the mouth,
Letting go of any tension you may be holding.
One more deep inhale,
This time gently lifting your shoulders up towards your ears and on the exhale allowing them to drop,
Softening the body.
Now bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Start by relaxing your forehead,
Softening your eyes,
Unclenching your jaw,
And just letting your tongue rest heavy in your mouth.
Allow your shoulders to drop away from your ears.
Feel any weight or tension melting down your arm all the way to your fingertips.
Bring your awareness to your chest.
Let your heart space soften.
Relax your belly.
Let it expand naturally with each inhale and soften with each exhale.
Feel your hips heavy and supported,
Your legs relaxing,
Your knees,
Your calves,
All the way down to your feet.
Your whole body now supported,
Held at ease.
Rest here for a moment.
And when you're ready,
Begin to deepen your breath.
Gently wiggling your fingers and toes and slowly at your own pace open your eyes,
Returning with a sense of calm,
Ease,
And presence.
