Find a comfortable seated position where you can be free from all distractions.
You can lie down if sitting up is not comfortable,
So long as you can be in a position where your spine is straight.
Begin to let your shoulders relax and let your hands just rest where they naturally fall.
When you are ready and if it feels safe to do so,
Close your eyes or drop your gaze and turn your attention towards your breath.
For a few breath cycles,
Just let this life force flow through you with complete ease.
You don't need to change it in any way.
Simply observe the way the body rises and falls with each breath in and each breath out.
Let any tension fade and just let your body fall into total relaxation.
Begin to just notice the energy that is stirring inside of you.
Energy is not something that you need to look for,
It's always there.
Everything is energy and energy is optimal when it's in balance.
Take a moment to ground yourself into the earth beneath you,
Feeling your sit bones or your backside rooted into the seat,
Floor,
Or other surface that you rest on.
Allow yourself to just fully arrive,
Sensing that you are held and supported by the earth in this very moment.
And we'll begin with the root chakra located at the very base of your spine.
Let your awareness rest here.
The root chakra is represented by the color red.
It provides us with a sense of being grounded,
Stable,
Protected,
And centered.
When in balance,
It connects us to mother earth,
Opening our energetic pathways to her nourishing and grounding energy.
Begin to visualize a warm,
Rich,
Red light filling up this part of you.
And as this light fills your root chakra,
It brings balance and cleanses the energies that move through this space.
This provides you with a sense of grounding and stability here on earth.
If difficult emotions arise at any point during this journey,
Allow your breath to ground you.
Offer yourself compassion and tenderness throughout this entire practice.
You are protected.
You are stable.
You are grounded.
You are protected.
On your next exhalation,
Allow your breath and your attention to shift slightly upwards,
Coming to a rest just below your navel on the sacral chakra,
The energy center just between your hips.
And the sacral chakra is connected to our emotions,
Our creativity,
And our sexuality.
As you let your attention rest here,
Imagine an orange glow filling your entire pelvis area.
And as it does,
It helps to soothe,
Cleanse,
And rebalance your creative,
Sexual,
And emotional energies.
Taking a few breaths on your own time into this space,
Imagine this healing glow bringing aliveness,
Sparking the creativity in this part of you.
You welcome pleasure.
You are creative.
And you have radiant flow.
On your next breath out,
Let this orange light fade to a warm yellow glow as you shift your awareness to the solar plexus,
Resting just above the navel space.
This is the energy center that awakens our confidence,
The courage,
And self-esteem.
Let your attention rest here while the yellow light fills this space in your body,
Helping to bring balance and vitality to your innate sense of confidence and worthiness.
This yellow light swirling around helps to soften and release any stagnation or excess energies in this area.
You are courageous.
You are confident.
And you know your worth.
On your next exhale,
Slowly shift your attention towards your heart chakra,
To the center of your chest.
The heart chakra is where we hold our capacity for compassion,
Kindness,
Forgiveness,
And understanding.
As you let your attention rest here,
Imagine an emerald green light radiating through each cell of your heart.
This light helps bring balance to this part of you.
A balanced heart chakra opening your heart to love and compassion and providing you with boundaries that are nourishing and supportive.
Take a few loving breaths,
Imagining this green emerald light cleansing all the energy that is held here deep within your heart.
Feel yourself opening up to yourself and to the world with peace and love.
You radiate with kindness.
You are all the love you need.
Slowly let your attention fade away,
And on the next breath out,
Allow your awareness to be guided to your throat.
The throat chakra is related to our ability to communicate and speak our truth.
It helps us to express our emotions.
Imagine your throat filling with a soft blue light.
This cleansing light helps to free up any anger,
Fear,
Or sadness that is held in this part of you.
The balancing energy of this soft blue light helps you to open your ability to know and speak your truth.
Take a few breaths with your attention resting here in this space.
Breathing in self-trust,
Breathing out self-doubt.
You communicate with great ease.
You speak your truth confidently.
On your next exhale,
Let your attention rise to the space between your eyebrows,
To your third eye chakra.
As you let your awareness settle here,
Imagine an indigo or dark blue-purple light filling the space behind your forehead.
Imagine this light balancing this energy center to provide you with a sense of clarity,
Imagination,
And intuition.
This space is where your inner wisdom lives,
Your inner knowing.
This balancing indigo glow will help you to connect with your intuition and spiritual guidance.
So take a few breaths here.
You are intuitive.
You are aware.
With the next breath out,
Let your attention gently move to the top of your head,
To your crown chakra.
This energy center connects you to the universal truths and your higher power.
Take a few natural breaths here as you visualize a violet light radiating through and around the top of your head.
And as it does,
The thinking mind softens and you begin to awaken to the beauty and the wonder of this beautiful moment.
You are connected.
You are divine.
You are your potential is infinite.
Take a long,
Deep breath.
And then slowly exhale and let your awareness fade.
Come back into your third eye,
Into your throat,
Back into your heart,
Through your solar plexus and sacral.
Landing back into the root at the base of your spine.
Take a moment to let your attention fall on the feeling of your physical body.
Notice where you're connected to the earth beneath you.
Slowly open your eyes back up to the world around you.
As you take a deep cleansing breath in through the nose and release loudly out the mouth.
Bringing your awareness back to the physical space around you.
Noticing your energetic chakras aligned,
Balanced and free.
Conceal this practice by bringing your palms together at heart center.
Take a breath in and a full breath out.
