To begin,
Get into a position that is comfortable for you to be in.
Connect to your breath by taking a deep,
Slow breath in through your nose.
And as you exhale,
Release any unwanted energy or unwanted emotions.
Take another deep breath in and exhale.
Let go of any tension and stress in your body.
Slowly breathe the deepest breath yet and then hold the energy for just a moment.
Open your mouth and let it all go,
Maybe with a sigh.
And then just resume your normal breath.
Give thanks to the body,
Mind,
And spirit that allow you to live this life here on Earth today.
Being a human is an incredible gift.
It's too great of a gift to be taken for granted.
Your body,
Your life,
Your mind,
Your heart,
Something to be grateful for each and every day.
In your mind,
Begin to think of three things that you are most grateful for.
Perhaps an experience,
A memory,
A person or place or thing.
Just notice what comes to mind when you think of things that you're most grateful for.
And then notice if these feelings of gratitude come naturally to you.
Or is it a bit of a struggle?
Having a daily gratitude practice is one of the most effective and easiest ways to change your attitude about life and improve your overall well-being.
With some intentional gratitude practicing,
You'll notice that even in the challenging and difficult times,
Your mind will naturally gravitate towards something about the situation to be thankful for.
As you imagine all that you have to be grateful for,
Allow yourself to smile as you think of these wonderful things.
Friends or family,
Animals,
Nature,
The food we eat,
The air we breathe,
The bed you sleep in.
Every moment of every day,
There's something to be grateful for and that is your breath,
Your body,
You.
So celebrate yourself and this life,
Every opportunity that you have.
I am grateful for you.
Have a wonderful day.
