I'll invite you to close your eyes and just settle into your space,
Maybe even wiggling your bum a little bit so that you can feel the support beneath you rising up to hold you.
And as you feel the support beneath you holding you,
You can allow the body to soften and exhale and relax into that support as if there is some unconscious bracing and holding of your being that can just soften now.
No need to know what the bracing is against or about,
Just recognizing there's a little bit of a clench that can now just be softened into.
And feeling all the points of contact with this beautiful support beneath you.
Maybe there's points of contact with your low back,
Your hips,
Your thighs,
Your calves,
Your feet.
And with every breath in,
Just allowing yourself to be more fully into this moment.
And with every exhale,
Just letting go into this beautiful support beneath you.
And today,
Just gently exploring the heart space and letting go of any ideas,
Any expectations of what it should feel like or that very narrow idea of it should feel loving and warm and fuzzy in here.
We're going to let that go for this moment.
And just recognizing the heart space is that beautiful container in which the all of you gets to live.
And if it's helpful,
You can just place your hand or both of your hands gently over your heart space,
Maybe even just pressing into it just a little bit to bring your awareness to this energy center.
And what we know is true is that where our attention goes is where energy flows.
And just feeling your attention coming into the vastness of this energy center,
Your heart.
And just noticing what you notice,
Even if it's nothing.
Maybe you notice it as a physical sensation,
A tension,
A tightness,
A pressure,
An ache,
An emptiness,
A blankness.
Let that be enough if that is your experience.
Just being present to and witnessing what is,
Not needing it to show up in any particular way.
And taking a big deep breath,
Imagining that breath coming directly in through the energy center,
Breathing in through the heart,
And expanding that energy space.
And exhaling,
Letting any tension go,
Letting go of any resistance,
Letting go of expectations so that you can just be present to yourself,
Exactly as you are in this moment.
Letting go of any shoulds or should nots.
And with curiosity,
Just asking yourself,
What energy am I aware of in this heart space?
Is there energy of sadness,
Loss?
Is there energy that's feeling scared?
Maybe there's a sense of contentment or peace.
Like a beautiful mansion with many,
Many,
Many rooms,
You can imagine different parts of your heart space are holding different feelings,
Different expressions of your full,
Whole,
Authentic self.
You could imagine yourself standing in the entryway of this beautiful house,
Calling out to all these many,
Many rooms,
To all the many parts of you,
To just gently open their doors.
And if they feel called to,
They're welcome to join you.
If they would just like to open the door just to let you know they are present here,
That is fine too.
If they want to stay behind closed doors,
Absolutely,
Beautifully,
Perfectly okay.
This is the practice of just tuning in and just noticing what you can notice in this moment.
Knowing each and every time you tune in,
Your attention is bringing more energy to this heart center space.
The more energy that's coming into your heart center space,
The more light that's coming to it,
The more awareness that you are bringing to it,
The more you get to know yourself fully,
Wholly,
And completely.
All the many versions of you,
The full spectrum of all human emotion lives within you in this beautiful space.
No need to judge it right or wrong,
Good or bad,
It just is.
And just resting into the freedom of that,
There is no right or wrong,
Good or bad,
It just is me feeling me.
How wonderfully liberating to let go of all the limiting thoughts and ideas that prevent you from fully experiencing yourself in this beautiful heart space.
And what is very clear is the essence of your being lives here too,
The part of you that is pure love,
Pure joy,
That lives here too.
And so in a moment,
I will count back from five to one.
And it's good to know that you can come back into this heart space again and again and again,
Bringing your attention,
Your awareness,
Your light,
Your energy to it.
And bringing that profound acceptance of the all of your being into this space,
Ultimately coming into wholeness.
So coming back now five,
Taking a breath deep into the abdomen.

Beginning to move and stretch the body,
Wiggling fingers and toes.
Three,
Bringing your awareness back into the room,
Coming all the way back up now.
Two,
Getting ready to open your eyes.
