
A Guided Journey Meditation For Re-Sourcing

This guided journey meditation is a gift of stepping into a figurative quiet place. We will engage in a gentle Scan and, through your own awareness and breath, begin a shifting that will allow you to be centered, replenished, and more grounded. As we continue, you will also find yourself recharging, reconnecting, and re-sourcing.

Find a place that's comfortable,
And let's begin with just dropping right into our hearts,
Bringing awareness to the breath,
And if it's comfortable,
In through the nose and out through the nose or mouth.
We're not looking to change anything at the moment,
Just bring your awareness right there.
Just allowing the outside world to figuratively fall away and be present within our own selves.
So I invite you to take and count about four cycles of your breath with the inhalation and exhalation at whatever speed,
Whatever intensity,
Just observing,
Not judging.
Allowing yourself really just to drop right into your center,
Your home base,
Where you've gifted yourself the next few minutes for your own reset,
Recharge,
Reconnection.
So now I invite you to bring your awareness a little bit more expanded to your whole body,
Bringing the focus to the top of your head,
Almost like we're going to do a brief body scan,
Continuing with your breath.
Let the awareness of how is the top of your head,
That crown chakra.
Just notice,
We're not looking to change anything,
But to bring our awareness right to ourselves.
And almost as if you have a ring of energy around you and you're lowering it.
Now,
Around your forehead,
That third eye chakra.
And just observe all the way around.
How are you doing around the forehead,
The front,
The back of the head,
That third eye chakra,
Just notice.
And continue and allow that ring of energy to slowly drop down and keep the awareness now around your cheekbones,
The back of your head.
We're crossing past the pineal gland that's deep in the center of your head,
Dropping down now to your jaw,
The mandible,
The back of your head,
Almost where the cervical meets the base of the skull.
Bringing that awareness and that circle of energy down right around your throat chakra.
Allowing yourself almost to like do this 360 on yourself.
How are you feeling there?
Are you noticing anything?
Continuing in dropping this energy circle around you from the throat over the shoulders,
Over the clavicles,
Over the top of your rib cage,
Now pausing at your heart center.
As you breathe in and out,
Just notice how is this part of you?
Now we're going to continue to scan,
Dropping this energy circle down a little bit lower,
A little bit lower,
Going lower on the ribs to the solar plexus.
It's around the diaphragm area in the front.
And just notice,
Continue dropping the scan even a little bit lower,
Beyond the belly button.
We're going to pause about four finger widths below the belly button to where your sacral chakra is.
And just notice,
How are you doing?
And again,
Starting to scan again,
Dropping it even further down to your root chakra.
Just allow yourself really with the inhalation,
The exhalation,
And just notice,
How are you feeling?
How are you doing?
And we're going to continue now bringing the scan even a little bit further down,
Over the quads,
Over the glutes.
Just continue dropping it down to your knees,
And lower to the shins and calves,
And we're going to pause at the ankles.
Just bringing awareness of how,
How are you?
And completing and bringing the,
That energy circle that's around you down,
Almost to the ground,
To your feet.
How are you?
And now expanding that awareness and realizing a part of you,
That light body part of you,
Also has an extension into the earth.
In your mind's eye,
Bring that energy circle down even further around,
Your illumined being,
The part of you that extends into the earth.
Check up on that.
How's that?
Do you even notice that?
It might appear as roots,
It might appear as just light,
It might appear as an extension of your feet and legs,
Or you might not have an awareness.
It may feel disconnected.
Anything is fine,
Just notice.
Invite you to take a large inhalation and exhalation,
And we're going to bring that scan all the way back up,
And actually that energy circle now,
You're invited to take it and set it off to the side.
Today's going to be a little bit different than most of the guided journey meditations,
Because we have an opportunity here for reconnecting.
So I invite you to continue with your breath and allow yourself to really land,
Meaning drop right in,
Bring your presence right in to this physical body,
Realizing that your light body,
Your energy is dropping right in,
Right into the center.
Now I invite you to settle in and allow quiet,
And allow just being right in your center.
For the next few minutes,
Breathe in and breathe out at whatever pace is right for you.
If there are faults,
Just allow them to get quieter.
Don't get distracted and don't hook into them.
Just breathe and really drop right into your center.
And as you continue to be right here with yourself,
Expand yourself,
Your sense,
Your being,
Just a little bit,
Almost like just expanding outward a little bit.
And now expand a little bit more.
What does that feel like?
And just allow,
Really drawing that inhalation,
The breath of freshness.
And if you feel the need,
Allow your exhalation to be a bit bigger.
And if there's no desire to change,
That's all right,
Too.
But the invitation is to be right here with you,
Being awash in your own presence.
And as you practice this,
The mind will still.
As you continue to be here,
The invitation is now the next few cycles of breath.
Allow yourself to expand even more,
Whatever that looks like for you,
Whatever that feels like for you.
Allow the space to be infinite,
And for your expansion to be comfortable,
Perhaps even awakening,
And perhaps with no limitations.
And once again,
Another invitation to expand even more.
And to have this awareness within you,
Awaken,
If you're not already there,
That you are connected.
And as you expand,
In your mind's eye,
Wherever you are,
And wherever you are in the world,
Wherever your expansion has taken you,
Just give it a nod,
A thank you.
And I invite you to take this expanded part of you,
And feel a connection,
Almost like connecting cords for recharging.
As you breathe,
You're recharging.
As you expand and sit in this awareness and spaciousness,
Allow yourself to observe connections,
Almost like threads of light,
Connecting with everything,
And giving yourself permission to recharge.
You've come home to your center,
Bringing your presence right here,
And allow yourself just to recharge,
Just to be in connection.
You may notice that your physical body,
The muscles relax around your jaw,
Your neck,
And your shoulders.
Maybe all of a sudden you even notice your belly relaxes a little.
It's all good,
Whatever it is it is.
So for another about six cycles of breath,
Allow yourself in your own time and space to draw in all that is needed,
And if there's anything to release,
Allow that to go out through the exhalation.
And now if there is any spot,
Space,
Part within you at the beginning when we did that body scan,
Where that was called out to you in some awareness,
I invite you to bring your awareness to that part of you now,
And see if it is still there,
And if it is,
Ask yourself,
Oh,
What do I need to know?
And when that is done,
Just give a nod and a thank you,
Okay,
And bring it back to your home,
Your center,
Your interior.
And if there's another part,
Go there now,
And if not,
Just be with your expanded being.
Just resourcing,
Drawing in,
Sourcing again,
Recharging,
Bringing the awareness of the reconnecting.
Allow yourself to have three more cycles of breath,
And when that comes to pass,
Draw in a little bit of that expansion,
And again,
Another few cycles of breath,
And draw in that once-expanded state a little bit more,
And for this third time around,
Another three cycles of breath,
And draw in the rest of that expanded self right back into you,
And give yourself a nod,
A nod of gratitude.
Being present with yourself,
Or being able to release and feel the reconnection,
The recharge,
The resourcing,
And with another two cycles of breath,
I then invite you to bring yourself right back into your very center,
Bringing your presence right into your presence,
Home,
And with a little bit of allowance,
Allow your body to move if you need to loosen your joints,
Your neck,
Your fingers,
And when you're ready,
Just come on back so that you can step back into your day.
