Welcome to Divine Choices with Meg.

In this meditation I will help guide you to connect with your inner self.

We'll focus on your breath and the powerful affirmations that remind you of your inherent worth.

Whether you're an adoptee or you struggle with worthiness,

This meditation will help ground you in love.

As an adoptee,

You may have had questions about your belonging,

Love,

And acceptance.

I know I did and these affirmations helped me to connect to myself.

Return to this meditation daily or whenever you need to connect to your worthiness.

This time is for you to embrace the truth that you are enough and you always have been and that you were never abandoned.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position whether you're sitting or lying down.

If it feels right,

Gently close your eyes.

Allow yourself to settle into the space around you.

Get comfortable.

Take a deep breath through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely.

Hold that breath for a moment at the top and now gently exhale through your mouth,

Letting go of any tension or anxiety.

Let's do that again.

Inhale deeply,

Hold at the top and exhale slowly,

Letting it go.

One more time.

Breathe in,

Hold.

Now allow your breath to return to its normal rhythm.

With each inhale,

Welcome calm and peace into your body.

With each exhale,

Release any doubts or fears.

Notice with each breath you are creating a wave of serenity within.

Now let's take a moment to connect with our bodies.

Begin your awareness at the top of your head.

Gently allow your attention to travel down your face,

Your neck,

Your shoulders.

Feel any tightness melting away as you breathe.

As you continue this scan,

Your awareness moves down your arms,

Your chest,

Your stomach,

Your hips,

And finally to the tip of your toes.

At your toes,

Affirm to yourself,

I am enough.

I am worthy.

Repeat these following affirmations silently or aloud.

I am enough,

Just as I am.

I was not abandoned.

I am chosen.

I deserve love and acceptance.

I am worthy of joy and belonging.

Take a few moments here to breathe in and out,

Absorbing these affirmations with every breath.

Let's repeat them one more time.

I am enough,

Just as I am.

I was not abandoned.

I was chosen.

I deserve love and acceptance.

I am worthy of joy and belonging.

Now imagine yourself in a peaceful place,

A safe haven that is uniquely yours.

This could be a quiet beach,

A cozy forest,

Or a warm inviting room.

As you visualize this place,

Feel the sense of safety and acceptance surrounding you.

Here you are embraced by love,

Not just from others,

But from within yourself.

In this sanctuary,

Allow the affirmations from earlier to resonate.

Visualize them surrounding you like a warm glowing light,

Each affirmation wrapping you in love and reassurance.

I am worthy.

I deserve joy.

I deserve joy.

As we move the end of this meditation,

Take a few more deep breaths.

With each inhale,

Gather that beautiful light of love and the affirmations.

With each exhale,

Send it out into the universe,

Knowing this energy surrounds you always.

When you feel ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

As you go about your day,

Carry this feeling of worthiness and love with you.

Remember,

You are not defined by your beginnings.

You are defined by your essence,

And that essence is beautiful,

Deserving,

And loved.

Return to this meditation daily to start a new practice,

Or whenever you need reminding of your worthiness and that you are loved.
