Welcome,

Everyone.

I invite you to get really comfortable.

Feel your body and feel that you're in a position that is comfortable and restful.

Take a moment to really listen to your body.

The body will always tell you what it needs.

There's no need to effort here to hold yourself up.

Feel that you're deeply relaxed.

Today,

We're going to explore the element of earth that is all around us,

All inside of us.

We're made of it just like we're made of all the other elements of what you could call oneness,

God,

Source,

Or you.

That which is hearing my voice,

The background awareness,

The background subjectivity,

Pure subjectivity.

It's before your name,

Before thought.

It's the background witnessing that's always been there and will always be there.

That same consciousness or pure subjectivity is actually infused in everything.

There's nothing that isn't conscious at its root.

It's the same one consciousness or one eye of awareness looking out at you from everything.

One could say that it's the most solid thing ever to exist.

It's completely consistent.

Let's take a moment and just feel that consistency.

That witnessing consciousness has always been there.

Can you see that for yourself?

Can you as pure awareness,

Pure witnessing,

That which sees the mind,

That which is hearing my voice,

Non-personal awareness?

Can you see that it's solid as rock?

It's never going anywhere.

It never has gone anywhere.

Moods have come and gone,

Eras of your life.

But that which witnesses it all,

That pure subjectivity has always been there.

So just for a moment,

Feel the solidity of it.

Feel the groundedness of it.

It has never left you.

Every mood,

Every trauma,

Every difficulty,

Every pain has been held in it,

Witnessed by it,

By you.

And we want to really feel this solidity,

This groundedness,

This earthiness of our true nature,

Our real being,

All through the body.

In a sense,

All meditation is for the body.

It's for infusing the body with its true nature.

Bodies have been very conditioned and our minds have been very conditioned,

And our bodies have been subject to crazy conditioning.

And so we have been disembodied.

We haven't listened to our bodies.

We haven't infused this deep source material,

Pure consciousness into the body.

And therefore,

We've felt ungrounded.

We've felt disconnected.

So we're plugging ourselves back into the earthiness of God,

Of your very nature.

So this solid subjectivity,

That which is hearing my voice,

Let's see if we can just bring it into your chest,

Starting to feel your chest.

Feel the breath moving in and out.

Feel the heartbeat.

Feel the skin wrapped around your ribcage,

Wrapped over your sternum.

Maybe you can feel the tissues connecting your ribs.

None of this is mental.

It's just feeling your body,

Feeling the sensations of your body.

Whatever the feeling is,

Whatever the sensations are,

Is safe.

It's welcome.

And if you feel pain or achiness or dullness or kind of a cloudiness,

It's actually just a part that needs some more attention.

That sensation is calling out to you,

Pure subjectivity.

It wants to be witnessed by you.

So there's no problem with that.

Pain has a bad reputation.

Sensation generally has a bad reputation,

But it's just sensation.

And when it's grounded,

When it's seen,

When it's held in this grounded witnessing,

The body relaxes.

It feels grounded.

It feels connected.

It feels so safe.

So let's really feel this presence radiating through the chest,

Grounding the chest,

Helping the chest feel witnessed,

Felt,

Acknowledged,

Held.

There's solidity to this awareness.

There's solidity to the body.

The body's here.

It's present.

It's held,

Not just in awareness,

It's held on Mother Earth.

It's magnetized to the earth.

There's a gravitational pull,

Holding the body close to the earth.

There's a steadfastness of the body,

Of pure subjectivity or witnessing the presence and of the earth itself.

In this moment,

They're all right here.

They're all very solid.

So feel your chest.

Feel the solidity of your chest,

Maybe the heaviness of your chest.

Feel the pull to Mother Earth and feel the solidity and steadfastness of the presence of feeling into your chest,

Of saying to your chest,

I'm here.

I've got you.

You,

Pure consciousness,

Feeling into your chest is like saying to yourself as a body,

I've got you.

I'm here.

I love you.

I'm holding you and I'm never letting go.

And you aren't.

You do have you.

You do see you.

You are the arms,

The strong arms that the body can relax into.

So feel your spine,

Feel the ribcage,

Feel the shoulder blades.

Really let that witnessing feel all through the chest.

Show up for your whole chest.

Be solidly present for the lungs and the heart and the bones,

The collarbones and the shoulder blades and the skin and even through the skin into the energy body,

Beyond the skin.

You,

Presence,

Are showing all the way up for you,

This body.

Feel the extent of all the sensations in the chest and feel that you're present,

Deep inside the chest,

All through the spine and all the way through the skin.

Like you're filling out a shirt,

Filling out a jacket.

It's a snug fit.

And it's a feeling,

It's a feeling of presence,

Of being inside your own skin,

Inside your own body,

Including the energy body that is beyond the skin.

Have your own back,

Have your own bones.

Feel from inside your shoulder blades and inside your shoulder joints down into the arms.

Feel the strength of the arms as you show up for them,

As you feel into the bones,

Into the tissues,

Into the muscles.

Feel the strength of your forearms.

Feel the delicate strength of your wrists and your hands and your fingers.

Feel the solidity of your own body and feel how much more solid and strong it feels when you,

Presence,

Inhabit it.

Feel that you're deeply inhabiting your own hands and feel in inhabiting them that they're five sizes bigger than normally.

Feel how big,

How powerful your hands are.

Presence tethers you.

Presence in the body tethers you.

It brings you out of the mind.

And it's totally fine if the mind is chatty.

It's no problem at all.

It does that and it does it in its sweet attempt to protect the body.

But actually,

If you let yourself just feel the sensations,

You're going to feel If you let yourself just feel the sensations,

You're going to feel the body relax and realize there's nothing scary here.

There's nothing to distract from.

I'm just feeling my own presence,

Feeling the strength and persistence of my own body and my own spirit,

My own consciousness that is everyone else's consciousness too.

It's the pure oneness consciousness that can be deeply and uniquely connected to this body.

And that's a very grounded feeling.

You feel the groundedness of the body and the body feels the groundedness of this presence.

And there's a solidity and a strength and a consistency and a reliability when we deeply feel the body.

So feel that you're really,

Really inside your own chest and inside your own arms and hands.

Feel that rich energy flowing through everything.

Feel how good it feels to feel your body to show up for yourself.

Good,

Let's move into the belly and the solar plexus area.

Filling the belly under the ribs,

And then down into the belly button and lower.

It's filling the belly with presence with witnessing,

Showing up and feeling your body.

Feel that belly.

We are often really disinhabited in this area.

It's our personal power areas.

And it feels maybe too vulnerable to be inside ourselves here.

Don't believe it.

It's just a thought.

See for yourself.

What does it feel like if you're all the way inside your own belly,

You feel every little crevice.

And the belly can feel that strong,

Steadfast,

Earthy,

Consistent quality of presence.

The belly is held in that solid presence.

It's not going anywhere.

Presence,

Consciousness will always be here,

Always,

Always available.

And the belly can surrender.

We don't have to hold ourselves in,

We don't have to hold our bellies in.

That's all mental,

That's all fear talking.

Instead,

Let yourself feel your own belly,

The earthy,

Beautiful quality of your own flesh and bone,

And tissue and organs show up inside your own organs.

It feels so much better to be in the belly,

Let the belly be surrendered and open and soft and inhabited.

It feels so much better than being held in.

Good.

Let's move that awareness down into the pelvis.

It's a continuation from inside the belly.

Feel the back of the pelvis.

Those lower vertebrae down into the tailbone.

Feel the sit bones.

Feel the roundedness of the hips.

Feel the hip joints just soften as you feel through them.

Feel deep in the center of the pelvis.

Feel that the pelvis is heavy,

Weighty.

That it is attracted to the ground.

It has weight,

It has solidity.

It's made of earth,

It's made of tissue and bone and blood.

And that presence feeling into your pelvis grounds yourself.

You can feel your pelvis,

It's here,

It's grounded.

The pelvis and then down into the legs,

They have rootedness into planet earth.

Feel from inside your pelvis,

This downward energy through the tailbone,

Through the sit bones,

Through the legs down into the legs,

Energetic roots,

Connecting you to the earth,

Connecting you to everything on earth.

There is not one energetic cord,

Not one root or energetic stream that moves inside our bodies,

Through our bodies,

That isn't connected with everything on earth.

You are made of earth.

You're made of the same water,

The same cells,

The same air,

The same chemistry,

The same magnetism,

The same dynamics in your body are the same dynamics on earth.

You are part and parcel of planet earth.

So let those streams of energy that connect you to the earth be felt through the pelvis,

Down through the legs,

Pouring out the feet.

Feel that you're a tree among other trees.

And it might not be visible,

But you have the same mycelial network,

Fibrous network,

Connecting you and everything on this planet.

You're never alone.

You aren't cut off.

These are just stories.

And you,

Pure subjectivity can feel it.

Feel through your legs.

Feel through your feet.

Can you feel how through your feet,

You're connected to the ground,

To the earth?

Can you feel the pull of the energetic roots rooting you to the earth?

Let's feel from the chest all the way down into the pelvis and down inside the legs and then through the legs.

Feel this rootedness,

This gravitational pull,

This hug from the earth to you.

You are literally made of earth.

You're being hugged by her constantly.

You're being hugged by pure presence,

Your larger self,

More so now that you're really feeling your body.

And you are never actually ungrounded.

You're never actually cut off.

You're never actually not made of earth.

You are earth herself.

And you are the solid stuff of presence,

Always.

So your mind might fly off and might pay attention to those thoughts for a while and you might have energy that feels a bit ungrounded.

But the feeling of the earth,

The feeling of your own heaviness of your own body,

The feeling of presence filling the cup of your body,

Holding you,

Grounding you is always here.

It never goes away.

It'll always be here for you to feel.

Let's feel it now at the top of the shoulders and up into the neck.

So just feeling your shoulders,

Feeling those muscles and feeling from the collarbones into the lower part of the neck,

The throat,

The base of the neck,

It goes to the spine in the back.

Feel you're really inside your own neck.

The neck is solidly felt.

You feel the width of it and the depth of it,

The height of it.

Feel that your neck is two or three times bigger in its presence,

In its earthy quality.

As we go,

You can always stretch your neck or any part of the body.

And if you feel you really want to stick to a part of the body that feels so good,

It's so healing to just be hanging out there,

Feel free to pause and come back.

Or just let my voice be a way of holding the presence,

Holding the solidity.

And you go wherever you want to go on the body.

Feel the neck nice and solid.

Feel the form of it.

Feel the heaviness of it.

Feel the weight of it.

360 degrees around.

Then come up from inside the neck into the chin.

Feel the weightedness of the chin,

The bones,

Inside the bones.

Feel the hinge of the jaw.

Feel the weightedness of the jaw.

Let it come unhinged if it wants to and relaxed.

Feel the weightedness of the teeth and the tongue.

Let gravity have you.

Let the body really surrender to the arms of Mother Earth and the arms of your own witnessing.

The mind doesn't have to do anything with this body.

It doesn't have to figure anything out.

It doesn't need to,

You know,

Check out of this experience.

You can be this close,

This present for yourself,

For the body.

And you feel more solid and strong and connected and grounded the more you inhabit your body,

The more you let it fall to earth.

Feeling your whole jaw and chin and then feeling the lips and the cheek bones and the nose and the nasal cavity.

Again,

Letting them all be heavy.

Letting the face mask fall.

Feeling your whole face showing all the way up inside your face.

Not masking,

Not hiding,

Not holding your face.

Let the eyeballs just totally relax,

Eye sockets,

The brow and the forehead.

Let everything melt,

Be heavy and fall away.

Fall to earth.

You don't have to hold yourself at all.

Let your face be more relaxed than it's ever been.

Deeply held in your own presence.

That is so solid.

It's got you so good.

Show all the way up for your temples and behind your forehead into your brain.

Behind your eyes into the middle of the brain.

Feeling the whole front of the brain,

Moving into the middle of the brain,

Showing all the way up.

Being here for you.

Being solidly present.

Holding you tight.

Holding you tight and soft.

Feel your temples all the way to the side of the head and then up to the top of the head.

Let the top of the head be nice and open.

Feel the skull.

The skull isn't going anywhere.

The brain isn't going anywhere.

You can open all of this up.

And actually,

It is just as solid.

It's just,

It's totally safe.

It's safe for this body to be both open and solid.

It's not going anywhere.

You're not going to screw anything up.

You're just feeling the body and that has the body feeling safe and held.

Loved and connected.

Part and parcel of Earth and part and parcel of beyond Earth.

You're part and parcel of it all.

You are on solid ground.

Very literally.

You cannot be harmed.

You are the solid ground of your own awareness.

And the more that solid ground of your own awareness,

Of your own presence,

Feels into this body,

The more grounded and solid this body feels.

So feel all through the top of the head and the skull,

The hair.

Feel all through the back of the head,

The brainstem.

Very,

Very back of the eyes at the back of the head.

Feel where it connects to the neck,

The back of the head.

Feel your whole head and feel how strong and solid it is.

Feel how all of it operates on its own.

Feel how good it feels to really show up for yourself,

To be solidly inside your own head,

Inside your own neck.

Show all the way up.

Feel every little corner.

Feel how strong and vibrant and rich all the sensation of your body is.

It's seen and felt and heard in awareness,

In pure subjectivity,

In this immortal consciousness of you.

In the formless space,

It's felt.

But it has very,

Very reliable,

Beautiful qualities that are here for you to feel.

To really,

Really taste this experience of this body.

As Judith Blackstone says,

To land on earth,

To show all the way up as pure consciousness in this body,

At this time and place,

With this flesh and bone.

There's nothing better.

So feel your whole head,

Feel your whole neck,

Your whole chest,

The back of your chest and spine,

Your belly,

Your arms,

The back of your belly,

The pelvis and the back of the pelvis,

The legs,

Both the front and the back and the middle of the legs,

All the way down into the feet and through the feet,

All the way into the head and up,

Open the top of the head,

Open the hands,

Open the tailbone.

And feel your whole body and feel beyond the body.

Feel how there's no separation.

There's no floating in space.

There's a solid quality to your body as a human,

As a unique human.

And how that body is inside a much larger,

Solid body of pure presence.

Feel inside the body and through the body and how it's not separate.

It's solid everywhere you look,

Everywhere you feel.

Does this presence,

This solidity,

This strong gravitational pull,

This rich energy in the body and through the body,

Is there anywhere where it disappears?

Or is it solid as rock?

Is it so reliable?

That presence all through the body,

All that rich quality of sensation,

It's not going anywhere.

It's not going anywhere.

We just had some thoughts that took us away from it,

But it's so solid.

Relish it all.

Relish the solid,

Endless presence of your pure witnessing.

Relish the solid,

Rich presence of your body.

And relish the solid,

Rich presence of the body of Earth.

All of which are connected.

All of which are one.

And there's so much to explore and to ground into and to feel into.

While you're here feeling your body,

Feeling how all that sensation is inside this much larger body,

See if you can feel out into the trees outside your window or into the walls of your room.

Notice how that pure subjectivity,

Pure presence is everywhere.

Notice you might be able to feel that tree.

You might be able to feel the floor.

It's just for fun.

It's just to explore the bigger body of you.

This human body is plenty to explore.

And there's always more to explore because you're endless.

And you'll always be here.

You're not going anywhere.

So you can keep exploring and enjoying this earthly body,

The Earth herself,

And the immortal body that you'll always,

Always be.

If you've had your eyes closed,

You can open your eyes and stay really connected to the body.

The weightedness of the body.

You can still feel the larger Earth body.

And you can always feel the biggest body of all,

That pure presence that permeates it all,

That is as solid as anything.

This body will come and go.

The Earth will transform.

But that larger body,

That pure oneness,

Will always be holding it all.

Always be witnessing it all.

And you can ground there anytime.

You can ground this body there anytime.

Thank you.

Till next time.
