Welcome.
I encourage you to get outside for this meditation if you can,
Or if you're indoors,
Perhaps you can settle by a door or a window or even in a stream of sunlight.
Once you've arrived,
Allow yourself to be still.
Let your eyes soften or close.
Begin to connect with the parts of your body that are resting against the earth,
Your sit bones,
Your feet.
Engage with that sense of anchoring down.
And allow the breath to anchor in a similar way.
As you inhale,
Feel your breath expand all the way down to the earth.
And on your exhale,
A gentle settling.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Presence in each breath.
Awareness in each moment.
And whether you're outdoors or near a window,
Feel the energy of summer rising up around you.
The warmth in the air.
The song of the birds.
Rustling of leaves.
The buzzing of bees.
The aliveness of the season in full bloom.
All of this.
The rhythm of nature awakening and moving.
It comes from this deep connection to the earth.
Everything just knows when it's time.
And just as it is their time,
It is yours.
Breathe into this grounded presence.
Let your inhale root you into the earth.
And your exhale soften you into trust,
Into support.
Each breath steady.
Each moment unrushed.
Just like the rhythm of the natural world.
An offering to gently ask yourself,
What truth is alive in me today?
What part of me is ready to be seen,
Heard,
Or even held?
And there's no need to answer these questions with words.
Just listen.
Let the stillness be your response.
And take your time in this space.
Let yourself rest in the energy of this growing season.
Breath rising.
Breath falling.
Just being.
Just breathing.
Just you.
What truth is alive in me today?
What part of me is ready to be seen,
Heard,
Or held?
And this is a beautiful place to linger.
You're welcome to remain here as long as you'd like.
Noticing what is shifting,
What is awakening,
What is becoming clear.
And when you feel ready to step back into your day,
Do so gently.
Carrying this grounded presence with you.
Rooted.
Real.
Aligned.
