Hello,

And welcome to this body scan for positivity.

This meditation is designed to bring awareness,

Joy,

And peace to your entire body,

From the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

We will use our breath and visualization to let positivity into our bodies and clear ourselves of any negative thoughts or feelings that we may be hiding throughout our body.

Stress and negativity do not just weigh on our minds.

We hold stress throughout the body in places like our neck,

Shoulders,

Hips,

And feet.

We clench up,

We tighten these muscles,

And we hold that negativity until we find an avenue for release.

Meditation allows us to release negativity through mindfulness and breath.

It is important that you listen to this meditation,

But do not worry if your mind takes you to other places.

When you catch yourself wandering into a different time or place,

Gently guide your thoughts back to my voice and refocus on your breathing.

Let's take three rounds of deep intentional breath together.

Inhale through the nose and exhale through the nose.

Know that it's okay if you need to breathe through the mouth due to allergies or congestion.

Inhale and exhale.

Once more,

Inhale and exhale.

Continue to breathe,

Adjusting to the rhythm that makes you feel the most relaxed.

We will link our breath to this visualization throughout the rest of this meditation.

On your inhales,

I want you to picture the air as a gold bright light.

This light is filled with positivity,

Positive thoughts,

And positive feelings.

Every inhale brings this positivity in through the nose and settles around your body.

Let's practice this a few times.

Inhale positivity and exhale.

Inhale that positive gold light and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Let go of this visualization for a moment as we shift to our exhale.

Visualize the stress and negativity stuck in your body as a gray dust.

This dust has made its way into the nooks and crannies of your body,

Squeezing your muscles and weighing you down.

On your exhales,

Release some of that gray,

Dusty negativity out into the world to be transformed back into positivity.

Let's practice this a few times.

Inhale and exhale negativity and stress.

Inhale and exhale that gray,

Gloomy dust.

Inhale and exhale.

Let's put these two visualizations together before we begin the body scan.

Inhale a gold,

Bright light of positivity.

Exhale the gray dust of negativity.

Inhale positivity.

Exhale negativity.

Inhale and exhale.

As we scan throughout the body,

We will direct this positive light to fill up different spaces in the body.

We will also focus on collecting negativity and stress stored in the body,

Gently releasing it into the world.

You may begin to feel your muscles relax and start to smile as you feel your body fill with positivity and light.

Let's begin directing our focus to our feet.

Inhaling,

Filling the feet and bottoms of the legs with this bright,

Gold,

Positive light.

Exhale,

Removing and pushing out negativity.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Moving to the legs,

Inhaling,

Filling the legs with this bright,

Gold,

Positive light.

Exhale,

Removing and pushing out negativity through the legs and the bottoms of the feet.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Moving up to the hips,

Inhaling,

Filling the hips and the glute area with this bright,

Gold,

Positive light.

Exhale,

Removing and pushing out negativity from the hips through the legs to the bottoms of the feet.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Moving up to the stomach and lower back.

Inhale,

Filling the stomach and lower back area with this bright,

Gold,

Positive light.

Exhale,

Collecting and removing,

Pushing out negativity through the belly,

Through the lower back.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Moving to the hands,

Inhale,

Filling the fingers and the hands with this bright,

Gold,

Positive light.

Exhale,

Collecting and pushing out negativity through the fingertips and the palms of the hands.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Moving to the arms,

Inhale,

Fill up the arms with this bright,

Gold,

Positive light.

Exhale,

Removing,

Collecting,

Pushing out negativity through the arms,

Through the fingertips,

The palms of the hands.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Moving to the shoulders,

Inhale,

Fill the shoulders with this bright,

Gold,

Positive light.

Exhale,

Collecting and pushing out negativity through the shoulders,

The arms,

The hands.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Moving to the chest,

To the heart.

Inhale,

Filling the chest,

The lungs,

The heart with this bright,

Gold,

Positive light.

Exhale,

Remove,

Collect and push out negativity through the chest,

Through the heart.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Moving to the neck,

Inhale,

Filling the neck and the throat area with this bright,

Gold,

Positive light.

Exhale,

Removing,

Collecting,

Pushing out negativity through the neck,

Out the top of the head.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Moving to the face and the head.

Inhale,

Filling up the head,

The face with this bright,

Gold,

Positive light.

Exhale,

Collecting,

Removing negativity through the top of the head.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Now,

Bringing this visualization to the entire body,

Inhale,

Fill the head,

The neck,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Hands,

Chest,

Belly,

Hips,

Legs,

Feet with positivity.

Exhale,

Push out negativity through the whole body.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Taking some time to let go of this visualization and observe your body where it is right now.

Observe if you've noticed any changes from the beginning of this meditation to now.

Wonderful meditation which more should listen to. An uplifting visualizing body scan that allowed me to release and smile. Tiny little wish from my side is that the guided breathing would be more evenly paced. Soothing and sensemaking music. Calm, guiding voice from Megan. 🙏
