Welcome to this guided meditation designed to help you overcome depression by guiding your subconscious mind toward positive thoughts and behaviors.

The purpose of this session is to help you take control of your thoughts and emotions and break free from the cycle of negative thinking that often accompanies depression.

Come into any grounding position that feels comfortable for you.

Close your eyes and begin by taking a few deep breaths.

Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose,

Hold for a moment,

And then exhale gently through your nose.

Allow your breathing to find a natural,

Calming rhythm.

Now imagine a warm,

Soothing wave of relaxation starting at the top of your head.

As this wave passes over your forehead,

Feel the tension easing away,

Your muscles softening and relaxing.

Let this wave flow down to your eyes,

Your nose,

Your cheeks,

And your jaw,

Releasing any tightness with each breath you take.

Feel the wave moving down to your neck and shoulders,

Cascading down your arms to your fingertips,

Letting go of any remaining stress.

As the wave continues to travel down your torso,

Let it relax your chest,

Stomach,

And lower back.

And finally,

Feeling this warmth spreading from your hips down to your thighs,

Your calves,

And into your feet and toes.

With each passing moment,

Let yourself sink deeper,

Becoming more and more relaxed.

And now,

Imagine yourself standing at the top of a beautiful staircase with ten steps.

With each step you take,

You will feel yourself becoming more and more deeply relaxed.

As you take the first step,

Feel yourself letting go of all tension.

Another step down,

Deeper and more relaxed.

Continue in this way,

With each step guiding you to a deeper,

More peaceful state.

And by the time you reach the bottom of the steps,

You will be completely relaxed and open to positive healing suggestions.

And while you are in this calm and peaceful place,

I want you to imagine a garden filled with vibrant healing energy.

This garden is a sanctuary where you are free from all the burdens of depression.

Feel the warmth of the sun and the gentle breeze on your face,

Bringing feelings of hope,

Joy,

And peace.

In this garden,

You are planting seeds of positivity and self-love.

And as you water these seeds with your intention and care,

They begin to sprout and grow,

Filling your mind with feelings of worthiness,

Happiness,

And strength.

Know that with each breath,

You are nurturing these seeds,

Allowing them to flourish and replace the old negative thoughts with the new positive ones.

Remember,

You are in control and you possess the inner strength to overcome any challenges.

Each day,

You are becoming more resilient,

More hopeful,

And more joyful.

Allow these feelings to take root in your being,

Knowing that you can carry this state of peace,

Positivity,

With you wherever you go.

And with each number,

You will slowly begin to return to your normal state of awareness.

When I reach five,

You will feel refreshed,

Positive,

And ready to continue your day.
