Hello,
And welcome to your meditation on choosing the right foods for your body now.
My name is Taylor LaForse,
And I'll be taking you on a guided journey to the grocery store where your mind,
Your subconscious will be able to show you the foods that are best for your body now.
We'll begin by relaxing our bodies in the room,
Relaxing our mind in a peaceful place in nature that you'll be able to create on your own,
And then we'll go to the grocery store that you frequent or enjoy the most.
We'll explore the aisles a little bit,
And then after you choose a few foods that catch your eye,
Once we get to the cashier,
The register,
You'll begin to unload them and notice that they might be completely different from what you selected.
So whatever you end up unloading on the conveyor belts at the cashier when you're going to check out will be the foods that your body has been wanting the most,
What they've been asking for that will be the most nourishing.
So find a quiet,
Comfortable place to relax,
And we'll get started.
And once you're comfortable,
Whether that is sitting up straight,
Cross-legged,
Sitting in a chair,
Or lying down,
Close your eyes.
And let's begin now by taking three nice and slow,
Deep breaths.
And with every breath,
Tell yourself it is time to relax completely.
With every breath,
You feel the muscles of your body relaxing more and more,
Getting more and more comfortable in this place.
And focus now on your body.
Feel your body resting comfortably on your mat,
Or the floor,
Or the cushion,
Or the couch.
And with every breath,
Your body begins to sink deeper and deeper still.
And notice now the sound of the music playing softly in the background.
And as you listen,
The gentle rhythm relaxes you even more.
Throughout this journey,
You will hear the sound of my voice,
And just allow any outside noises to relax you more.
And notice the temperature in the room feels just right,
Perfectly comfortable,
Relaxing temperature.
And as your body relaxes here,
Safely and comfortably,
Allow your mind to drift and drift all the way to a beautiful place in nature that your mind will create.
And allow yourself to go there now,
And notice what's around you.
Perhaps you're at the beach,
Or in a meadow,
Or amongst the trees in the forest,
Finding the perfect,
Most relaxing,
And completely safe space in nature to arrive.
Notice what you see around you in your environment.
Perhaps you see trees,
Or the ocean.
Perhaps you see small animals.
And just allow everything you see to relax you more,
To bring you more peace and nourishment.
And notice the sounds you hear in this beautiful place.
Perhaps you hear birds chirping,
Or the soft whistle of the wind.
Allow all that you hear to relax you completely,
All of the sounds like a beautiful melody.
Notice now that there is a fragrance in the air,
And as you breathe it in,
Your body fills completely with this lovely scent.
Every breath feeling more at peace,
More comfortable,
And more relaxed.
And as you enjoy this space,
Notice that there is something here that you would like to touch,
To physically connect to with your hand,
Your body,
And allow yourself to do so now.
Enjoying how it feels,
And allowing yourself to connect to this space even deeper.
And as you look around your space,
Notice that there is something here you would like to taste,
Perhaps to eat,
Or to drink.
Something to enjoy,
And allow yourself to take a bite,
Or a sip,
And receive the nourishment and fuel that you need to go on a journey,
Preparing to discover the right foods for your body now.
The healthy foods that will help your body thrive.
So enjoy this peace of nourishment.
You are now deeply relaxed,
But decide to relax even deeper.
So imagine now,
Laying down somewhere to rest completely,
And notice the clear blue sky above you.
It's a beautiful day,
The sun is shining,
And feel the golden rays of the sun shining down upon you,
Filling your body from the top of your head,
All the way down to the bottom of your feet,
Clearing you,
Cleansing you,
Providing you with the energy that you need.
And notice how this golden light of the sun begins to surround your body completely,
Creating a sphere of protection all around you,
And you are now ready to go on a journey.
You are at the perfect level of relaxation to go on a journey to discover the right healthy foods for your body now.
So see yourself at the entrance of the grocery store,
Ready to select a few healthy items for yourself.
See yourself entering the store with your basket or cart of choice,
And begin to explore the aisles of the store,
And you will be selecting just a few healthy items to place in your cart or basket.
So notice what items catch your eye,
And continue going down each of the aisles,
Noticing what food,
What healthy items catch your attention,
Selecting just a few to place in your basket or cart,
And I'll give you a few more moments of quiet to continue exploring each aisle of the store.
And now that you have gathered a few healthy items,
See yourself going to the cashier,
And in a moment you will begin unloading your items from your basket or cart.
They may be items that you have chosen,
Or items that your body has chosen for you.
So begin to unload each item in your basket onto the conveyor belt,
Paying close attention to each item that you place down.
Perhaps there are items that you did not select on your own.
Perhaps there are items that you did select,
And perhaps you notice some that you had selected are not on the conveyor belt.
And each item you see on the conveyor belt now is important to fully nourish your body.
These are the food items,
The healthy food items that your body wishes most for you to enjoy,
To bring you the energy,
The fuel,
The vitality that you need for a healthy body.
And see yourself now purchasing these items,
Placing them all in a bag,
And once you have purchased and secured all of your items,
We're going now to your kitchen,
Or the place where you prepare your meals,
And allow your mind to show you the ways in which you will be preparing some of these ingredients.
And now you have a better understanding of how to best prepare some of the ingredients that you purchased.
Others may be more straightforward,
And know you can always explore online for creative ideas to prepare these foods.
And now you have completed your journey,
Knowing what foods are best for your body now for you to consume for a healthy body.
So take this information with you into your day to prepare the most nourishing foods for your body now.
And we are now coming back into this room.
So bring your consciousness,
All pieces of yourself fully back into your body,
All the way down to your feet.
I will begin counting up from one to three.
When I reach three,
You'll awaken feeling alert,
Refreshed and able to remember all pieces of your meditation.
One take a deep cleansing breath.
You are beginning to awaken to moving your body,
Your hands,
Your feet and three feeling alert and refreshed,
Full of knowledge,
Opening your eyes whenever you're ready.
And welcome back.

Knowing that they'll be very important to you.
Now the foods that we need to eat do change with time,
What we're going through as well the physical demands of our body.
So this is a meditation that you can return to anytime.
So that frequency is up to you could be every couple months,
Whenever you feel that you need a little bit of a refresh in your diet.
