Hello and welcome to a meditation called The Gift.

My name is Taylor LaForse and today I'll be guiding you to receive a gift that is symbolic of something that you wish to do or learn or experience or perhaps even something that you recently moved through and can have a new perspective on.

So an example might be when I lead you to this gift,

You might uncover that the gift is a pen,

Which can be symbolic of the fact that maybe you've been meaning to write a book or an article and it is now officially time for you to start.

The gift could be symbolic,

It could be literal,

And it is possible to receive an empty box,

Which can symbolize clarity.

Now we'll get a better understanding of what the gift means when we go into the future to see how you'll be using it.

So let's get started.

Take a few moments to get comfortable.

You may be seated on the floor in a chair.

A recliner can be very relaxing.

And you may choose to lay down if it feels good.

But set the intention to stay awake if you do.

And once you are comfortable,

You may close your eyes.

And let's begin by taking three nice and slow deep breaths.

And with every breath,

Tell yourself it's time to relax.

And as you breathe,

Take a moment to notice your body.

Feel your body resting comfortably in the chair or the mat or the floor.

And feel your body sinking deeper and deeper wherever you choose to rest.

Notice now the sound of the music playing softly in the background.

And as you listen,

The gentle rhythm relaxes you even more.

Feeling calm and at peace.

And notice the temperature in the room feels just right.

It's perfectly warm,

Relaxing,

And comfortable.

And as your body relaxes here safely in this room,

Allow your mind to drift and drift all the way to a beautiful place in nature that your mind will create and go there now.

Perhaps you're at the beach or the mountains or in a beautiful meadow.

Just simply accept and enjoy the relaxing and perfectly safe place that your mind brings you now in nature.

And take a moment and sense what is around you.

Perhaps you see trees or a body of water.

Perhaps you see small animals in this beautiful place.

And just allow everything you see to relax you more,

Completely at ease,

Completely at peace.

And notice what sounds you hear in this beautiful place in nature.

Perhaps you hear the birds singing or the trees blowing gently in the wind.

Perhaps you hear the sound of a waterfall nearby.

Just enjoy everything you hear and all that you hear relaxes you more.

And this entire space and all of the sounds is created just for you,

To give you the strength that you need to receive the gift.

And notice that there is something in this space that you would like to touch,

To physically feel with your hands,

Your body.

And take a moment to do so now.

Notice the texture,

Notice how it feels.

Perhaps it is soft or rough or wet.

And everything you feel relaxes you more.

It feels peaceful,

It feels comforting,

And brings you a deeper connection to the healing energy of this space.

A space you can return to at any time,

Simply by wishing to be there in your mind.

And notice now that there is a fragrance in the air.

And as you breathe,

This lovely scent relaxes you more,

Fills your nostrils with pure love.

And as you enjoy the space,

Look around you,

And notice that there is something here that you would like to taste.

Perhaps to eat or to drink.

Find something to taste.

And as you enjoy each bite or each sip,

Notice that it brings you the energy,

The vitality,

And the happiness you need.

You are now deeply relaxed,

But decide to relax even deeper.

So imagine leaning back somewhere or laying down completely.

And as you rest,

Notice that it is a beautiful day.

The sky above you is blue,

And the sun is shining.

And feel the warm golden rays of the sun shining down from the top of your head,

Down,

Down to the bottom of your feet.

And as that golden light energy flows through your body,

It cleanses you,

Purifies you,

Brings you the healing and protection that you need.

And see this energy of sunlight surrounding you completely,

Providing a protective shield all around you.

And in a moment,

You'll begin to notice a gift in this space in nature,

And you will be drawn to its exact location.

And this gift represents something that you've been meaning to do or learn or experience,

Or perhaps a celebration of something you have recently moved through.

So notice now where that gift is,

Noticing how it's wrapped,

The size,

The shape,

How it feels in your hands.

And when you're ready,

Open the gift and notice what's inside.

And you may choose to ask any questions in your head to gain a deeper understanding,

Such as what does this mean for me?

What is it that I'm supposed to be doing?

And I'll give you a few moments of silence to gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of this gift for you.

And you may receive the insight right away,

Or perhaps you gain a deeper understanding over the next few days.

Take a moment to say thank you for the gift you have received from a higher part of your mind.

And now to gain a deeper understanding,

We're going to go to a moment in the future to see how you'll be enjoying this gift.

So allow your mind to take you to that future point now and see how you'll be enjoying the gift you have received today.

And as the scene becomes more and more clear,

Notice what you're doing.

Notice what environment you're in,

If anyone else is there.

And take a few moments to get a clear understanding of how you'll be using this gift.

And you may choose to ask any questions in your mind for deeper clarification on what you are seeing or sensing in the scene.

And you have now seen how you'll be using this gift to express gratitude for yourself,

The higher part of your mind that brought this information to you.

And just know that you might receive more clarity and a better understanding over the next few days.

So now bringing all of the positive emotions of this future point with you,

Return now to the present moment,

Back in your body,

Back in the room.

And I'm going to begin counting up from one to three.

And when I reach three,

You'll awaken feeling alert,

Refreshed,

Happy,

And able to remember all of the details of your meditation.

One,

Take a deep breath,

You're beginning to awaken.

Two,

Feeling very light,

Happy,

Coming all the way back down to your feet.

And three,

Opening your eyes whenever you're ready and welcome back.

If you're still processing what you received in the gift meditation,

Now is a really good time to do some journaling,

Take some notes,

Reflect on it.

And again,

It's okay if it's not perfectly clear today.

Oftentimes the clarity comes just simply over time,

But it will make sense.

Hopefully you're feeling good,

Relaxed,

Elevated,

With some thought-provoking questions perhaps about where to take your journey from here.

But lots of love to you,
