Welcome,
And thank you for joining me on this guided meditation to release fear with a shower of love.
You can do this meditation either seated or laying down.
I invite you now to find a comfortable position,
Preferably with your spine straight,
Feeling supported and relaxed,
And closing over your eyes.
I want you now to focus on your breath.
Inhaling deeply and exhaling fully,
Releasing all the air from your abdomen.
And again,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Feeling yourself relaxing more and more,
Melting into the surface beneath you.
Now I invite you to bring to mind a situation where you are experiencing fear or anxiety.
Visualize yourself in this situation.
Imagine what it would be like to be there and why you are feeling this fear or anxiety.
Sit with this feeling and allow it to be a part of you.
Accept this fear and understand that it is just there to try to protect you.
Now I invite you to thank your fear or anxiety.
Thank you for trying to keep you safe.
And now start to imagine that you are feeling a gentle rain falling down upon you.
You can feel the water dropping ever so lightly on your skin.
You can hear the pitter patter of the drops falling around you.
Sit with this beautiful feeling of a gentle shower just raining on you.
Connecting with your breath again,
Still feeling that fear,
Knowing that it's there.
And now the droplets of rain turn to pure light and love.
The light rains down on you with all the love of the universe.
It washes away the fears that you are feeling.
It cleanses all anxiety from your field.
This cleansing rain starts to fill you up with light.
You can feel it pouring now into the top of your head,
Trickling down your face and your neck,
Down through your shoulders and your chest,
Stomach and back.
This rain of light continues to pour down through your pelvis,
Your legs and down into your feet.
You are so filled with this amazing pure light that you are unable to feel any fear or anxiety anymore.
You feel supported and cleansed and new.
You feel this light and love glowing from within and without.
Bask in this beautiful feeling now.
Breathe this love in and exhale.
Now start to bring your awareness back to the space you are in.
Listen to the sounds of the room.
Slowly start to wiggle your fingers and toes and flutter open your eyelids when you are ready.
