We are a body pulsing with life, moving, and changing within time, and we are endless pure awareness. When we sink into the present moment, we can experience the space where these two aspects of our being touch.

So let's settle in.

You can welcome yourself into this moment and consciously let go of any thoughts about the past or the future.

We've come to know the principle that the mind lives mostly in the past and the future,

But to know it as an idea and to actually separate from that tendencies to different things.

And to come into this moment is to come into what's real,

Not our imagined ideas of the future or our memory of the past,

But what's actually real.

It's all just here.

And we're in these bodies,

These material molds.

Feel your body now,

Your face,

Your back,

Gravity drawing you down.

Feel your bones and your heart.

Notice the relationship of your spine with gravity and your head.

It's the weight of your head balanced on your spine.

Notice if there's tension in your hips and pelvis and your upper legs and just let it all flow out.

There's this physical body that's sitting now in this moment,

Pulsing with life,

Blood,

Fluid,

Energy,

Electricity.

Your organs are churning and pulsing.

Your lungs are drawing breath in and releasing.

These processes unfold in time.

They define the scope of time,

These processes of your body moving,

Breathing.

Feel your breath pour in and flow through your lungs,

Into your lungs,

Then through your whole body.

The oxygenated blood that your heart pumps out to the periphery of your body,

To the tips of your fingers,

And then draws back in,

That's breath.

So we're in this material form shot through with pulsing,

Moving,

Surging life energy in all these forms.

And we are also awareness.

What is that?

What is awareness?

The capacity to see,

To apprehend the body and life.

It's inside the body.

It's inside life.

And it observes.

The mind is part of this with its thinking and dissecting and ruminating.

But beyond the mind,

There's just the awareness.

You can focus that awareness on a point as small as a dot,

On the tip of your right thumb.

You can focus your entire awareness.

And it can be as vast as the cosmos.

So let's just sit for a while,

Feeling the relationship between the physical body,

The blood and rocks of our muscles and bones and organs,

And the life force pulsing through,

And the awareness that apprehends all of this in this moment right now.

And try not to think.

What I mean by that is try not to actively engage in a thought process.

We're not considering or analyzing.

We're just settling into feeling the relationship between body and life and awareness.

Anytime that you get drawn into a vortex of thought,

Let your breath bring you back into your pulsing body in this moment.

Breath pouring in and saturating every bit of your body from your skin to your bones,

Organs,

Every cell drawing in breath.

Your breathing pulsing body and the light of awareness that apprehends it.

Right?

Great.

.

.

The body and the life force are in a constant state of motion.

And the mind through which the awareness is focused is also moving all the time.

But the fundamental awareness,

Consciousness itself,

Is absolutely still.

It's the only thing in the universe that's absolutely still in this moment and in every moment.

So,

Sink down towards the source of awareness.

Stay connected to your form,

Your body,

Breathing,

Pulsing.

And sink towards the source of consciousness,

The still,

Vast,

Eternal radiance.

This is the meeting place of eternity in time.

The stillness of eternity in the flow of time meets in you right now.

You are the joining of eternity and time right now in this unique form.

You're not your thoughts about this,

You're not your analysis of yourself,

You are the eternal radiance merging,

Joining with the fluidity of your pulsing body right now.
