This heart-centered meditation uses coherent breathing to bring you back to your heart center and soften into calm. With gentle breath counts and warm golden light, you’ll explore simple heart visualizations that expand kindness toward yourself and others. Each inhale opens the heart space; each exhale releases tension and barriers. Leave feeling open, steady, and connected.

Sit comfortably,

Place one or both hands over your heart,

And feel its gentle rhythm.

If you haven't yet,

Close your eyes and take a slow breath in through your nose and out through your mouth,

Softening your face.

Now,

We'll use coherent breathing.

Inhale for about five to six seconds,

And exhale for about five to six seconds.

Smooth and even,

No forcing.

So now inhale,

And feel your breath gently expand in your heart space.

Exhale,

Soften and release.

Inhale,

Imagine warm golden light entering your heart.

Exhale,

Let it spread through your chest.

Inhale,

Send kindness to yourself.

Inhale,

Picture someone you care about,

And send them the same warmth.

Exhale,

Let the wave flow outward.

Inhale,

Expand that kindness to include more people,

Perhaps everyone around you today.

Exhale,

Release any barriers.

Now continue breathing evenly,

Each inhale opening your heart wider,

Each exhale radiating compassion.

Feel the gentle wave moving,

Connecting you to yourself and others.

One more full breath.

Inhale,

Love.

Exhale,

Peace.

Slowly bring awareness back.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Slowly flutter your eyes open,

And carry this heart-opening warmth with you today.

You've got this,

My friend.
