Your heart contains mysteries and the vastness of the Infinite, as does your business' heart. Allow this Remembrance, the Divine, to widen the container of your heart, and of the heart of your business, so you can more easily hold more, contain more, be nourished more deeply by so much that is available to us all.

Al Dabbalahi min ash-shaitanir rajeem.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.

This is Mark Silver with Heart of Business and welcome to the Monday Remembrance.

You know,

This year my focus has been on power and part of power is connected to ability.

And ability is connected to a certain strength,

Right?

An ability to be able to do something,

To handle something.

And there was a request,

One of the guided remembrances from the heart of money has to do with enlargening your ability,

Widening your ability to steward,

To care for,

To hold things.

And sometimes we feel like we have a very small capacity,

That we're full up or that we just feel stuck,

That our business feels like it's a certain size,

Our life feels like it's a certain size.

And this is not about trying to become huge or monstrous in size,

It just means that we could use a little bit more space,

Like everything feels like it's a little bit tight.

And so if you've been feeling that tightness,

If your business feels like the capacity is a little tight,

If your finances feel like the capacity is a little tight,

If your life just feels a little constricted.

Let's first take some moments to really feel that,

To be with that,

To not try to change or shift anything with that.

Just noticing what is it like to really feel that sense of constriction,

To not have to fix it,

To not try to get away from it.

One of the past remembrances is how to just be with discomfort without even trying to get anywhere else.

This is one of the basic,

One of the core,

One of the foundational skills,

Capacities that we need to build as human beings.

And so before we move on at all,

I just want to encourage you to be with the constriction,

To be with that sense of tightness.

Just taking a nice gentle breath and not trying to fix it,

Not trying to get away from it.

And then as you bring your attention to your heart and you begin the remembrance of the Divine.

You're not in remembrance,

You're not with your heart as a strategy to get rid of the constriction.

Instead you're just asking,

Is love available even here?

Is the Divine present even here?

This is our starting point always.

This is our starting point.

This is our starting point.

Ahh.

Just noticing how much time we're taking to really be with that sense of constriction.

And to be with that sense of the Divine,

Asking is the Divine available even here?

And noticing in that constriction all that's passing through,

All that's passing through your business.

If you're feeling constricted,

Then there must be a lot there,

At least a lot compared to the size of the space available.

And just being with appreciation of all that's passing through.

And then beginning to ask.

Asking the Divine to widen your heart,

To deepen your heart.

If you imagine a river and there's a certain quantity of water flowing through.

If the river were deeper,

If the river banks were a little further apart,

Then the quantity that could be carried by the river is so much larger before it floods.

And so not imagining it,

Not using your willpower,

Not using your own strength to imagine your heart larger.

But just being in acceptance of where your heart is now and the constriction that is now and just asking the Divine,

Please widen my heart.

Make it deeper,

Make it wider.

Widen the container of my being.

Deepen the container of my being.

Widen the container of my business.

Deepen the container of my business.

Just asking,

Asking,

Willing to be surprised,

Being shown what happens when you ask.

Just asking.

Just asking out of a humility,

Out of a yearning,

Out of a desire,

Feeling your yearning to be able to steward more,

Feeling your yearning.

The neediness that may come out of the desperation of feeling stuck,

Turn that back to the Divine.

Let yourself be with that.

That's the capacity for the discomfort.

And instead,

See if you can find the yearning that your heart has to care for more,

To give more,

To serve more.

Just asking,

Noticing.

What happens when you ask the Divine from a place of real surrender,

From a place of real openness and yearning?

Ask the Divine to widen your heart,

To deepen your heart,

To widen the container of your business,

Deepen the container of your business,

To allow more to flow through.

Yes.

And just letting go,

Letting yourself be with that request,

Letting the Divine be,

Letting your heart be,

And just noticing what happens.

Willing to be surprised.

None.

None.

None.

None.

None.

Just noticing how your heart feels now,

Just noticing any changes,

Noticing how your business feels,

Asking to be shown what's possible.

What's possible with the widening and the deepening that the Divine has brought.

And taking a nice gentle breath,

Noticing any authentic gratitude or appreciation for anything that you may have experienced during this remembrance.

And letting yourself express that to the Divine.

And if you wish to stay in remembrance,

Please feel free for as long as you need to.

And if now is the time for you to turn your attention back to the day,

Take a nice gentle breath.

And let yourself come back,

Remembering that the remembrance is available in every moment,

In any moment,

In the space of a breath.

Peace.
