Do you sometimes or often mistreat yourself with comparison? This leads you to think you are not on the right path. Or that you are so very far from the point where you should be. In this track I share with you my very last experience of poisonous comparison and how it became a fruitful insight about my mountain path. This episode is part of the series called "Soft and strong" based on daily spiritual and creative experiences.

This morning I started my day with a bit of anger and discouragement,

Frustration simply because of poisonous comparison.

I have watered a sea of poisonous comparison.

Comparison,

Remember comparison can be a great tool.

It can really help us to process.

It's not something that we have to mistreat and dismiss or cancel.

We just have to learn how we can use it.

But this time I was just feeling like I was not on the right path,

Not on the right mountain and moreover I was just at the very bottom of the mountain I should climb.

And why is that?

I was just looking at another beautiful mountain that was not mine.

A mountain that I thought I had to climb just to get approved,

To receive recognition,

To be validated by my peers,

To be seen,

To be heard,

To be loved.

That's what we all want to feel.

And so frustration emerged,

Then anger,

Then discouragement,

Like you know when you feel like okay I have done all this but this is not enough.

And suddenly in a second I realized whoa this is just an illusion.

This is just my old self talking to me that I'm not good enough,

I'm not the right person,

I must make even more effort.

And you know that voice too,

Whether you're an artist or just the artist of your life,

Which is a whole artistry in itself.

And I processed with this,

With the way I do this,

You know with my voice,

With songs,

Well actually with overtone singing this morning.

And now I'm just sitting here with you and again something popped up.

I realized whoa what happened is that I just thought I was not on the right path and I had to climb another mountain and I was just at the bottom of this mountain,

Which makes a lot right.

The wrong place and the wrong like level.

Come back to your breathing and feel that this moment is the right moment for you.

Whatever you're feeling,

Whatever you're experiencing,

The experience is what it is.

This moment is what it is and we choose what we want to perceive of it.

But we can't escape this moment,

We can't escape our circumstances.

But this mountain is yours,

This path is yours,

You are always on the right path.

Actually that is the truth.

You can't fool yourself.

The biggest mistake you can make is to think that someone else has the right path for you to be shown,

Has the right mountain for you to climb.

We built our summit,

We built the illusion of perfection and we built also a path.

So I will leave you with this hoping it will maybe just wake you up and realize that you are the right path.

There's nothing wrong,

There's nothing more to attain.

There are millions of things you could do but can you simply be on your path,

On your mountain and make this journey easier.

And one of the most important ways to do this is to create and create from your own truth,

From your own heart,

From your guts,

From your heart.

And creating can be just like what I did with singing but you can also create by making a space of silence inside of you if there is turmoil.

Just make silence.

This is a real creation that is really dear and really needed right now too in the world.

So I wish you to enjoy your path.

I wish you to find moments where you can just look at the beautiful view you have on your mountain even if you feel at the very beginning of your journey.
