Let your mind slow down.
Not by force,
But give your mind permission to slow down.
There is nothing you need to keep track of right now.
No lists to remember,
No conversations to replay,
No outcomes to manage.
Let your mind slow down.
Give it permission to begin to relax.
As your mind begins to relax,
Notice if something comes up,
Let it pass by like a cloud.
You don't need to follow it,
And you don't even need to finish the thought.
Just let it move on by,
And gently remind yourself,
I don't need to hold on.
As you begin to relax,
You may feel some things are incomplete from your day.
Some things you didn't finish.
Some things you wish went differently.
These are just thoughts.
Nothing is being lost,
Nothing is being forgotten.
You're just gently putting it aside and saying,
It's okay to pause right now.
Feel the soft release of not needing any closure right now.
Just be.
You do not have to quiet your mind.
And just notice and be where you are right here,
Resting in this space.
Just for right now,
And for tonight,
Let it all go.
As your mind begins to empty,
As your mind begins to let go,
And as your body begins to relax,
Soften your breath.
Release into where you are right here,
Preparing for peaceful sleep.
Bring your mind to gratitude instead of searching for things that happened during the day.
Take notice now of three simple thoughts from today that you're grateful for.
Begin with thought number one.
What's the first thing that you're so grateful for today as you end your day?
Now,
What's the second thing that you're grateful for from your day?
Take it to heart and focus on it now.
What's the third thing you're grateful for that you experienced today?
And filling your chest with warm,
Gentle,
Peaceful energy.
Now imagine yourself wrapped in a sense of calm,
Peaceful,
Calm state.
Like a soft blanket of peace surrounding you.
Your breath is slow,
Steady,
And easy.
Just rest.
Just be.
Know that you are safe.
You are supported.
With a peaceful heart,
Allow yourself to drift into a deep sleep.
