Welcome and thank you for taking the time to listen.

Thank yourself for taking the time to just be.

Before we begin it's important that you are in a very comfortable position.

Wherever you are make sure that you wiggle or move parts of the body until you get a feeling of comfort.

Wiggle your feet if you're sat on a chair,

Your thighs,

Your upper back,

Straighten it up.

Sit tall.

That will allow your breath to move with more ease.

This meditation is based on self-enquiry.

It's nothing to do.

It's nothing to aim for.

Because you're sat on the chair take a quick look within and notice what's there today.

It may be a body sensation that pops up first in your screen of consciousness.

It may be mind is distracted.

Maybe you're noticing your breath more closely for the first time in your day.

Whatever your attention shifts to notice it and name it in your mind's eye.

For example breath or pain or wherever the thought is taking you,

Name it and return your focus back in your body,

In your breath.

In this space we're going to ponder the question who is here breathing?

Keep asking the question inwardly and notice what emerges.

Who is here breathing right now?

Who is here meditating?

You might notice that your mind is rushing in to give an answer but it's me of course,

Maria or your name.

If you look a little bit more closely if you can see that emerging then where does that same is seeing from?

And notice what's coming up for you.

The mind will keep playing its play and dancing its dance.

And as the dance has been playing out this is observed.

This is observed from a place of infinity,

From a place of easiness.

The ultimate place from which all dances happen and all plays manifest.

Can you see?

Can you feel into that place?

Your mind might come in again and say but,

But hold on a minute where,

Where is this place?

Or it might want to judge or doubt or evaluate or reject or shut down.

It's safe here.

It's safe.

You can remind your mind that you can take a breath as it can bathe back in that lovely motion of easiness.

There is nothing to do in this place.

No effort,

No task to be accomplished.

There is an ease and effortlessness.

This is your true nature.

Effortless easeness.

Deafening silence.

This is the place in which all effort appears.

All task appears.

All feelings appear.

They're transient and they pass by.

In this place the meditator and the meditation are both witnessed all at once.

It's the ultimate seeing.

The ultimate freedom.

That is your name.

Freedom.

Even that very name is melting away in the nameless space within where no words can capture the vastness.

The vastness of this place.

Enter.

Enter fearlessly this nameless place.

This placeless place.

And be remembered for who you truly are.

I hope you enjoyed this short meditative journey.

Adopting self-inquiry as a meditation tool.

Whatever came up for you,

May you embrace it with no judgement,

Just curiosity.

And I hope it helped bring some peace.

Take care.

Beautifully slow, deliberate and understanding. I wish there were more.
