Hi,
You are with Manusram and today I am going to guide you through a meditation to overcome nervousness.
Find yourself a comfortable chair or a sofa and sit with your feet touching the ground and your palms facing upwards.
Now,
Let's begin this beautiful journey to overcome nervousness.
Sit in a comfortable position with your feet touching the ground and close your eyes.
Do not open your eyes until asked to do so.
Bring about relaxation throughout your body by bringing your attention to each and every part of your body one by one.
To begin with,
Bring your attention to your toes,
To your feet and to your heels.
Feel them totally and allow them to relax.
Now bring your attention to your ankles.
Feel them totally and allow them to relax too.
Similarly,
Bring your attention to your calf muscles,
To the back of your knees and to your knees.
Feel them totally and allow them to relax.
Now bring your attention to your thighs.
Feel your thighs totally and allow them to relax too.
Now bring your attention to your hips.
Feel your hips totally and allow your hips also to relax.
Once you are enjoying this beautiful state of relaxation,
Bring your attention to your lower back.
Feel your lower back totally and allow your lower back to relax.
Now bring your attention to your mid-back.
Feel your mid-back totally and allow your mid-back also to relax.
Similarly,
Bring your attention to your upper back.
Feel your upper back totally and allow your upper back also to relax.
As you are enjoying this beautiful state of relaxation,
Bring your attention to your shoulders,
To your arms,
To your elbows,
To your wrists and to your palms.
Feel them totally and allow them to relax.
Now bring your attention to your neck.
Feel your neck totally and allow your neck to relax.
Similarly,
Bring your attention to your head.
Feel your head totally and allow your head also to relax.
Now bring your attention to your face and allow your forehead,
Your eyebrows,
Your eyes,
Your nose,
Your chin and your cheeks and also your ears to relax totally.
As you are enjoying this beautiful state of relaxation,
Bring your attention to the soles of your feet and feel how the soles of your feet are touching Mother Earth thus forming a conduit between you and Mother Earth.
Now start listing out all the fears you hold inside yourself.
As you start telling them loudly,
You will see that all these fears are being expelled from your mind,
Body and soul.
I am going to give you about a minute.
List out all the fears and those deep secrets and kilts which are holding you back.
It is now time to release other negative emotions which are holding you back.
As I start listing these emotions,
You will feel a heaviness in a particular part in your body.
Identify that heaviness and let go of it from your body and you will see that it is being pushed out of your body through your legs and being absorbed by Mother Earth.
To start with,
Identify the emotion of anxiety or anxiousness in your body.
Once you feel the heaviness in your body,
Let go of it from your mind,
Body and soul and as you do,
You will see that it is being absorbed by Mother Earth.
Identify the emotion of confusion in life and once you feel the heaviness in a particular part in your body,
Let go of it.
As you let go of it,
You will see that it is being passed on to Mother Earth through your feet.
Similarly,
Identify the emotion of struggling in life in your body.
Once you feel a heaviness in a particular part in your body,
Let go of this struggling in life emotion from your mind,
Body and soul and see that it is being passed on to Mother Earth through your feet.
It is now time to identify the emotion of rushing in life,
An unknown hurry,
Unknown confusions which are pushing you to rush in the process of life.
Identify this heaviness in your body and once you do so,
Let go of it from your mind,
Body and soul and you will see this heaviness moving downwards into your feet and being absorbed by Mother Earth.
Similarly,
Identify this emotion of not trusting the process of life in your body.
Once you feel the heaviness in a particular part in your body,
Let go of this heaviness,
The heaviness which is not letting you trust the process of life.
As you push this heaviness downwards into your feet,
You will see that it is being absorbed by Mother Earth.
Enjoy this relaxed state of mind and imbibe into yourself that there is no fear which can win over you.
Most of the fears are something which is created by your mind.
There is no one person in the world who can push you around or command you.
Also,
There is no use of rushing in the process of life.
The best way to live life is to feel every moment and enjoy any work you are doing in a calm and relaxed fashion.
Now,
Thank Mother Earth for this opportunity.
Thank her for healing you today.
Once you thank Mother Earth,
It is now time to come out of this meditation.
Slowly move your fingers and move your toes.
Now stretch your hands and stretch your legs.
When you are ready,
Put both palms together and rub them to generate some heat.
Now put your palms on your eyes.
Slowly remove your palms and open your eyes.
You are now a new individual who cannot be rushed by others around them.
Go about your life in a calm and relaxed fashion,
Doing all your work to the most optimal levels.
