Hi,

You are with Manasram and today I am going to guide you through a meditation that helps you overcome your fears.

Sit in a comfortable position and as you are sitting there,

Close your eyes and do not open your eyes until asked to do so.

Bring about relaxation by bringing your attention to each and every part of your body one by one.

To begin with,

Bring your attention to your toes,

To your feet and to your heels.

Feel them totally and allow them to relax.

Now,

Bring your attention to your ankles,

Feel them totally and allow them to relax.

Similarly,

Bring your attention to your calf muscles,

To the back of your knees and to your knees.

Feel them totally and allow them to relax.

Now,

Bring your attention to your thighs,

Feel them totally and allow them to relax.

Similarly,

Bring your attention to your hips,

Feel them totally and allow them to relax.

As you are enjoying this beautiful state of relaxation,

Bring your attention to your lower back.

Feel your lower back totally and allow it to relax.

Similarly,

Bring your attention to your mid-back,

Feel your mid-back totally and allow your mid-back also to relax.

In the same fashion,

Bring your attention to your upper back,

Feel your upper back totally and allow your upper back also to relax.

As you are enjoying this beautiful state of relaxation,

Bring your attention to your shoulders,

To your arms,

To your elbows,

To your wrists,

To your palms and your fingers and fingertips.

Feel them totally and allow them to relax too.

Now,

Bring your attention to the back of your neck and to the center of your neck.

Feel them totally and allow them to relax.

Similarly,

Bring your attention to the back of your head and allow it to relax.

Now,

Bring your attention to the back of your head and to the center of your head.

Feel them totally and allow them to relax.

Now,

Bring your attention to your temples.

Feel both your temples and start relaxing your temples.

You will see that you hold a lot of energy in your temples,

A lot of stress and worry.

As you start relaxing your temples,

You will see that there are waves of relaxations passing from both your temples and meeting at the center of your being,

At the center of your body.

And as they meet,

They are neutralizing all your fears and worries.

Continue this process of relaxing your temples.

Relax them with each and every breath of yours.

Relax your temples as you inhale.

Also relax them as you exhale.

Keep up this process of relaxing your temples with each and every breath.

And as you relax your temples,

You will see waves of relaxation heading towards the core of your body,

Towards the center of your body.

Enjoy this beautiful state of relaxation.

Also see how your brain is now in a totally relaxed state.

It is enjoying the stillness which is very near to a Samadhi.

Keep relaxing your temples with each and every breath of yours.

With every inhalation and exhalation,

Relax your temples,

Which in turn is relaxing your brain and your head.

Now bring your attention to your jaws and start relaxing your jaws.

First and foremost,

Relax your gums.

Now bring your attention to the back of your jaws and relax the teeth in both your upper and lower jaws.

Similarly,

Bring your attention to the middle of your jaws and relax the teeth in the middle of your upper and lower jaw.

Now bring your attention to the front of your jaws and relax the teeth and the muscles in the front of your jaw too.

As you are enjoying this beautiful state of relaxation,

Bring your attention to your heart and relax your heart too.

As you relax your heart,

You will start hearing the sound of your heartbeat.

Enjoy the sound which is the echo of life in your body.

As you are enjoying this beautiful state of relaxation,

See yourself sitting in your favorite place.

Bring your attention to all the inhibitions and fears inside you.

Start telling them out loud.

Put out all the fears you have and the inhibitions you have,

The things you beat yourself up with for the lack of confidence.

Put all this feeling outside of you.

As you are telling these fears out loudly,

They are just coming out of you and disappearing into Mother Earth.

I am going to leave you here for about 2 minutes where you can think about all your fears and inhibitions right from your childhood to now.

All these fears which are holding you back,

Think of all of them and say it out loud and as you say it,

You put it out of you,

Letting Mother Earth absorb all your fears.

Question yourself on what you are scared of.

Find an answer to it and say it out loud and put it out of you.

Continue this process until you have put out all the fears inside you.

It might be small or big.

Just recognize the fears and inhibitions inside you and say them out loud and put it out of you.

It is now time to come back from wherever you are.

Imbibe into yourself that whatever work you do,

You will do it with passion by giving 100% of yourself.

Imbibe into yourself that you will not hold yourself back on any account and do each and every work in your life with the utmost passion.

I am going to count from 3 to 1 and when I say 1,

You will be in your day to day awakened state.

3,

Slowly stretch your hands and stretch your legs.

2,

Whenever you feel like,

Rub your palms together to generate some heat between them and then put your palms on your eyes.

Now slowly remove your palms and open your eyes.

Go about every work you do in your life with the utmost passion.
