This guided meditation helps one overcome addictions. With regular practice, one will be able to overcome addictions to porn, alcohol, smoking, social media, and masturbation using this meditation. This meditation can be undertaken by anyone and can be practiced as many times as required.

Hi,

You are with Manasram and today I am going to guide you through a meditation to overcome addictions.

Sit in a comfortable position and close your eyes.

Do not open your eyes until you are asked to do so.

Bring about relaxation throughout your body by bringing your attention to each and every part of your body one by one.

To begin with,

Bring your attention to your toes,

To your feet and to your heels.

Feel them totally and allow them to relax.

Now bring your attention to your ankles.

Feel them totally and allow your ankles to relax.

Similarly,

Bring your attention to your calf muscles,

To the back of your knees and to your knees.

Feel them totally and allow them to relax.

Now bring your attention to your thighs and feel them totally.

Once you feel them totally,

Allow them to relax.

Similarly,

Bring your attention to your hips and allow your hips also to relax.

As you are enjoying this beautiful state of relaxation,

Bring your attention to your lower back.

Feel your lower back totally and allow your lower back to relax too.

Now bring your attention to your mid-back.

Feel your mid-back totally and allow your mid-back to relax.

Similarly,

Feel your upper back and allow your upper back also to relax.

As you are enjoying this beautiful state of relaxation,

Bring your attention to your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your elbows,

Your wrists and your palms.

Feel them totally and allow them to relax.

Now bring your attention to your neck and allow your neck to relax.

Similarly,

Bring your attention to your head.

Feel your head totally and also the parts of your face and allow them to relax.

As you are enjoying this beautiful state of relaxation,

Bring your attention to your feet and notice how the skin of your soles are touching Mother Earth.

Once you notice this,

Bring your awareness to your complete body and start listing out all your fears.

These fears might look like colours in various parts of your body or even as just a wave of energy throughout your body.

Once you feel these fears,

Let go of all your fears from your mind,

Body,

Soul and each and every part of your body.

Release them from each and every cell in your body and as you do so,

You will see that this emotion is being sucked into Mother Earth.

Similarly,

Bring your awareness to another emotion that is the fear of future.

Start releasing this emotion from your mind,

Body,

Soul and each and every cell in your body and as you release it,

See that it is being absorbed into Mother Earth.

Now,

Bring your awareness to another emotion which is running away from self.

Release this emotion of running away from yourself,

From your mind,

Body,

Soul and each and every cell in your body and as you release it,

You will see that it is being passed on through your legs into Mother Earth.

Now,

Bring your awareness to another emotion which is not knowing how to love yourself.

Once you feel this emotion,

Release this from your mind,

Body,

Soul and each and every cell in your body and as you start releasing it,

You will see that it is being passed on to Mother Earth through your feet which is touching Mother Earth.

Once you have released all these emotions,

You are feeling light,

Refreshed and energized.

Your body is already vibrating at a higher rhythm and you are on your way to conquer all your addictions.

As you feel this lightness in your body,

Thank Mother Earth who helped suck all your negative energies.

Thank her for providing this opportunity.

Also thank her for being a conduit throughout your life,

For letting you walk around on her and letting you release so many toxins onto Mother Earth.

Once you thank Mother Earth,

Slowly stretch your hands and stretch your legs.

Come back from wherever you are and whenever you feel like,

Rub your palms together until some heat is generated between them.

Put them on your eyes and whenever you feel like,

Remove your hands and slowly open your eyes to be in your day to day awakened state.

You have now conquered many of your fears and out of your addictions.

Go about your day feeling like a new person.
