Just allowing yourself to find a nice comfortable position,
Allowing your body to release anything you may be holding onto from your day.
And allowing your mind to find areas of your body where you might be holding onto tension.
Mama I hear you,
That's why we're here.
Sometimes you need me time.
So while we're here,
And as you feel your worries,
Struggles,
Challenges from the day to melt away,
Notice each part of your body.
Just do a quick scan from your toes all the way up to the crown of your head and find the areas where you might still be holding tension and let it go.
Inhaling deeply,
Exhale.
Again inhaling deeply and exhale.
As you settle in and get comfortable,
Begin to find a place that brings you happiness.
Maybe it's the ocean,
The shoreline,
Maybe it's a forest.
Choose what your happy place is and linger there.
While you're here,
Really begin to focus on all of the little details that are around you.
For me it's the ocean,
The sound of the waves crashing,
The smell of the salt air,
The gentle breeze that brushes against my skin,
The soft sand beneath my toes.
This is my happy place where I can come whenever I want and find some time for me.
So as you sit here comfortably imagining your happy place,
Remembering you can always come back here,
Allow the stress of your day to just slide away slowly just like the waves that crash on the sand.
Well allow all of your struggles,
Your worries,
Your anxieties to also go right out with that wave.
Allow your mind to feel free,
To feel at peace.
And thank yourself for showing up today,
Even in this brief time that you gave yourself me time.
Thank yourself for showing up,
For being here.
Allow your mind to begin to wake up just a little slowly and gently,
Coming back to the present,
Feeling your fingertips on the tops of your knees if you're sitting.
If you're lying down,
Maybe you feel your hands by your sides.
Trying to wiggle your fingers,
Your toes,
Bringing gentle movement back into your present and your current setting.
And let's find our breath again.
Inhale again.
Exhale.
Okay,
Inhale.
Exhale.
One more,
Mama.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Maybe you're doing this in the morning and you're ready to conquer your day.
Or maybe you're doing it at night and you're ready to release your day.
Whatever it may be,
Find peace here.
