The audio comprises of a short guided meditation followed by poetry on the non-dual self. The purpose of this meditation and poetry is to orient the listener towards nondual awareness that has the same quality as the silence underneath the sounds: no beginning or end. I hope it facilitates your spiritual practice and reminds you of the true nature that lies underneath sensory experiences.

I am Mahib and welcome to the Nondual Poetry Series.

In this contemplative meditation practice,

I will lead you into a meditation and take you into Nondual experience through one of my poems.

I hope you enjoy.

Let's take a position that's most comfortable.

You can either lie down or be seated on a chair or cushion.

Make sure your back is straight.

Make sure your eyes are closed.

Now take all your attention,

All your focus and place it on your breathing sensations.

Notice your body when the air goes in and when the air goes out.

Notice the subtle sensations that arise in your body as a result of breathing.

If your mind wanders away,

Bring it back with compassion and acceptance towards yourself,

Towards your own mind.

If you find yourself lost in thinking,

Ruminating,

Planning or reliving things that are no longer here,

Acknowledge that happened and simply come back to your breathing sensations.

The more you wander away,

The more opportunities you have to come back.

The more you come back,

The stronger your meditation practice becomes.

And with that insight,

I would like to read a poem and mark the end of our meditation for today.

Early in the morning,

I'm journaling my thoughts.

Are they mine or are they not?

Where do they come from?

Where do they go?

The answer to this is impossible to know.

I know there is no limit to rumination.

The more I stop it,

The more runs imagination.

But when I let it flow in the stream of consciousness,

Less pain there is when I greet them with openness.

The thoughts stop on their own like fire without fuel and I go back to the stillness of self that is non-dual.

Wow that poem at the end was incredible! And the meditation before it was so compassionate and gentle, I was able to bring so much tenderness to my wandering mind. Highly recommend this! Thank you!
