Welcome to the Somatic Tuning Experience Practices to Connect with the Root Chakra.

One way to connect with the Root Chakra is through Somatic Practices.

Somatic Practices are great to shift unwanted negative and stagnant energies.

Somatic Practices are exercises that help us become more aware of our body sensations and feelings.

Here are a few guided Somatic Practices you can try to connect with your Root Chakra.

The Body Scan Meditation.

Lie down on your back with your arms at your sides.

Close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.

Begin to scan your body from the top of your head down to your toes.

Noticing in areas of tension or discomfort.

As you scan your body imagine a warm red light glowing at the base of your spine connecting you to the earth.

You may like to explore this a bit further.

Another Somatic Exercise to connect to the Root Chakra is a grounding exercise.

Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet deep into the earth.

As you inhale imagine drawing up energy from the earth through your roots and into your body.

As you exhale release any tension or negativity from your body down through your roots and back into the earth.

You may like to repeat this several times.

Another Somatic Experience is to try Yoga Poses.

Certain Yoga Poses such as the Tree Pose,

The Mountain Pose and Warrior Two Pose can help to ground and center you and connect you to your Root Chakra.

These poses help you to connect with your body,

Feel more stable and grounded and connect with the earth.

By practicing these Somatic Exercises you can begin to connect with your Root Chakra and cultivate a sense of safety,

Security and stability in your life.

Remember it is important to listen to your body and practice self-care as you explore these practices.
