If we just sit comfortably.
If we naturally find what's comfortable and sit.
Just start there.
It's fine to notice the breathing.
Let the energy subside.
The energy subsiding is a transformation of your awareness.
Come up near your head and down into the chest and into the body,
Even into the legs and the feet.
So your awareness emanates more from your whole being.
The awareness of the whole being can begin within.
Without the compulsion to move or change anything.
To simply rest.
Then the awareness might expand by itself.
To the periphery of your being.
To try and manage who we are.
That's where the effort comes in.
The assumption of me separate from something else.
And if we remain with the presence of our own being.
And involve awareness of your surroundings too.
Stay away from that promise.
The awareness of the surroundings and the awareness of the sensations in your body and the breath all these objects of existence they are helpful to give the mind a focus in meditation all these objects of existence just let the fact that you are aware become the curiosity not the objects of awareness but awareness itself all these objects of existence notice if the energetic compulsions come in wanting to solve something,
To change something,
To know something all these objects of existence and notice how awareness requires no change nothing to do simply is as it is you you you you you
