Welcome to Let's Fall Asleep.

This is Jacqueline Lu,

Your voice guide for the session.

As you find yourself once again fully awake,

Yet the night softly calls you to sleep.

Take a nice deep breath.

Remain calm,

Hopeful,

And be confident that your body is ready for a deep relaxation leading to peaceful dreams.

Let's begin the journey to dreamland.

Picture the city goes to sleep,

And now you can rest inside your bed.

Take your time,

Take a few more nice deep breaths,

And start to relax,

To unwind,

And sink deeper into a full body total relaxation,

A state of completely letting go.

As you breathe in,

You hear the sound of the ocean wave.

As you breathe out,

You relax and drop deeper.

Notice your breathing,

Gentle and steady.

Notice a sensation of falling,

Falling into a dream.

Notice that your head is getting heavier with each exhale,

And notice your neck slowly lose all the tension that was required to support the head,

And just let go,

Melt away.

Picture your body is like a city,

And your nervous system a quieting highway.

As the city goes to bed,

The highway empties and grows silent.

All the cars with their headlights beaming toward the next exit,

And the highway become quieter and quieter as the night falls.

All the lights in the city begin to go dark.

One by one,

Close your eyes and go deeper into the darkness.

Your brains quiet down,

Your thoughts turning off.

You hear a humming stillness behind the sound of the ocean.

Your face relax,

All the tension,

Sensation fades and melts away.

Your shoulders relax,

Drop down and melt away,

Chest softens,

Relaxes and melts away.

Neck releases all the tension,

Relaxes and melts away.

Your arms grow so heavily,

And all the tension dissolves away.

Fingers relax,

All the sensation,

Let them fade away.

Your back softens,

Expands as you let go,

Relax and fall deep.

Your belly,

Abdomen relax,

Expand and melts away.

Your pelvis,

Buttocks,

Legs,

Feet and your toes completely relax,

Sinking further and lost in your bed.

The city is now fully dark,

The sun has set on the other side of the world,

And the moon rises quietly.

As the city rests,

So do you.

Imagine you are completely embraced by your bed,

Drifting in a dream,

Cradled by a soft white cloud.

The ocean is in the distance,

And moonlight gently touches the treetops.

You are safe,

Calm and fully relaxed in a dream.

There is nothing to see,

Nothing to think about and nothing to worry about.

In this total darkness,

This deep,

Calm and complete relaxation,

Here you dream.

You sleep through the quietest of the night,

As the sun journeys on its endless,

Smooth path.

You know it's easy and natural for your body to close down for rest as the sun goes down.

As the city goes dark,

As your head melts into the pillow,

The gentle sound of your breathing guides you,

Guides you deeply into a restful sleep,

Easily,

Peacefully,

Naturally every single night.

As we come to the end of this recording,

If you are wearing headphones,

Feel free to remove them,

And continue to breathe steadily as your brain restores itself,

Your body repairs itself,

And your spirit renews itself effortlessly and naturally.
