I hope that helped you in your meditation.
However,
Once you finding yourself progress,
How can you continue to maintain this meditation experience as long as you like so that way your meditation progress will be even improve better and better.
In this audio,
I will provide you with the four activities that help support steering the mind.
First of all,
In our daily life,
We must continue to experience a lot of things whether a happiness or unhappiness because we have to struggle for living.
Sometimes good,
Sometimes bad.
We cannot avoid but all of them come and go.
So thus,
These four activities will helping you to support steering your mind and they are number one.
In order to facing what's yet to come in your daily life,
We must accepting and looking at the nature of the world as it really is through understanding that if there is a gain,
There is a loss.
When we have money,
Soon we will spend and that's our loss.
The more we have,
The more we lost as well.
It come and go at all the time.
It is something that happen in our life whether we like it or not and we cannot avoid.
Number two,
If we can recognize our fame,
The opposite is obscurity which means losing our fame.
So if one day you get recognized by someone,
Soon they will forget about you too depending how long it would be but no one last.
Number three,
If you are happy,
Be ready for unhappy or disappointed.
They are come in a pair.
Sometimes stay long,
Sometimes stay short.
We can't really tell but they are come and go so be ready.
And last but not least is if you get pressed by someone,
Somewhere in this world someone will gossip about you too.
So the nature of this world are these four pair,
Gain and loss,
Recognize and obscurity,
Pleased and disappointed,
Praise and gossip.
These are the nature of the world that happen in our daily life.
We cannot escape and it will continue to happen.
Number two,
Once you understand except the nature of the world,
What you can do is you can choose to be happy.
So that is maintain the mind in positive,
Right and joy.
Throughout our life there are good memory and bad memory but we can choose.
Choose only the positive one,
Let the negative one be lesson never to repeat so we can move on forward with happiness memory in our mind.
When our mind stay positive it is easier to maintain stilling the mind.
Next,
Once you understand accepting the nature of the world and maintain in your positivity,
Your mind will be open up.
Open to what?
Open to look at everyone in this world that you meet,
Whether they are someone you know or not but when you see them with positivity in the mind,
You looking at them as a friend or families who undergone the same suffering fate as you are,
Whether they are aging,
Sickening and dying and every moment just like yourself.
Instead of thinking about yourself,
Your mind be open,
Care for everyone in a positive way,
Wishing them to be happy.
So sending them loving kindness toward everyone,
Disregard of who they are.
This is when the mind become happy and joy.
Be able to stay positive and open to love everyone without any discrimination.
And next,
The last activity that help maintain your mind to be still is once you find yourself happy see everything,
You begin to understand and realize that the whole world that we are living in is just an empty place.
No attaching feeling much over things that we have own because it's all will be gone someday and you will be able to look at things as temporary.
It is nothing that you can own,
Really own at all and it's beyond your control.
But in order for us to be happy,
Doing everything with the best of our ability so that way we can maintain happiness with peaceful mind inside.
And so these are the four activities that helping you to maintain the stilling the mind.
Before we end,
Let's repeat of what they are so that way we can remember.
In order to maintain your mind in the state of stillness and peaceful,
We must practice these four activities and they are number one,
Accepting and looking at the nature of the world as it really is through understanding that there is a gain and loss in our life,
Recognize and obscure it is part of our life,
Happy and unhappy is what to come in every day,
Praise and gossip are what happening everywhere.
Accepting this by understanding them,
Your mind will be able to number two,
Maintain the mind in positive,
Bright and joy.
Recall the good memories we possess to help us be happy and still our mind because the mind that will be easier to still is the mind that is happy.
Number three,
When you maintain the mind in a positive,
You will be able to looking at everyone as a friends and family who undergone the same suffering as you are,
Which is aging,
Sickening and dying in every moment.
We don't know when the time that we will come,
Understand everything truly,
We will be able to sending loving kindness toward everyone without any discrimination.
And last,
Looking at the whole world as emptiness,
Are not attaching too much over things,
Since we can only temporarily own it,
Nothing is in our control at all.
But in order to live our life in a happy way,
We should do our best in everything.
And that's everyone,
These are the four activities that will support you to stilling the mind.
