Hey,

Today we are going to be repeating some self love healing affirmations.

You should repeat these affirmations to yourself whilst looking in the mirror.

This is known as mirror work.

If you find it difficult to look into your own eyes and repeat these lifting positive affirmations then you should know that it is completely normal for you to struggle with this.

Mirror work is supposed to help you to understand your deeper feelings about yourself and within time you should be able to stop any negative thoughts or criticism that you feel towards your reflection and then you will be able to build a stronger confidence and a loving relationship with yourself.

So any emotions that arise whilst you are practicing mirror work,

Allow them to be there.

Allow yourself to be true to yourself and release these emotions.

So if you want to cry then you can cry and if you want to smile then you can smile.

But just be open with your feelings and just allow them to be there.

Okay,

So let's begin in front of a mirror,

Somewhere that you will not be disturbed.

And take a deep relaxing breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

And repeat to yourself these affirmations after me.

You matter.

You are happy.

You are confident.

You are brave.

You are strong.

You are enough.

You are beautiful.

You are grateful for your life.

You are in control of your life.

You love your body.

You are happy in your own skin.

You accept and love yourself.

You are thankful for your body.

You are worthy.

You are worthy of love.

You deserve to be happy.

You are loving and lovable.

You release and let go of any judgement.

You fully approve of who you are.

It's okay.

Everything will be okay.

Now that you have repeated those affirmations to yourself,

I want you to think about how you feel in this moment.

Practice the way that you look at yourself and you should feel proud of yourself for taking this time to work on self love.

Continue to practice mirror work as often as you can to keep on building that confidence and strength within you.

You can save this and come back to it whenever you need.
