In this video we will be doing a guided visualization and meditation to help you to relax.
This meditation can also help you to fall asleep.
Make sure that you are comfortable either sitting down or laying down.
Somewhere where you will not be disturbed for the duration of this meditation.
Take a deep breath and allow your muscles to relax.
As you exhale,
Notice any tension leaving your body.
Take a deep breath and bring your awareness to your head.
As you exhale,
Release any stress and calm any noise inside your mind.
Take a deep breath and notice the muscles throughout your body begin to soften and unwind.
From your neck,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Your back,
Stomach,
Hips,
Legs,
All the way down to your feet.
Take a deep breath and feel a flow of relaxation cover you from head to toe.
As you exhale,
Let go of any worry and allow yourself to be calm and comfortable.
I want you to imagine that you are on a beach.
You are on a beach with beautiful golden sand below you.
Listen to the waves as they slowly roll in towards the shore and out.
As they roll in,
Covering the sand and back out.
The sun is shining and the sky is bright blue with a few small white fluffy clouds floating by.
You feel warm and comfortable with a refreshing breeze rushing through your skin.
Take a deep breath and breathe in the smell of the sea air.
As you exhale,
Let go of any negativity left in your body.
Breathing in and breathing out.
You walk along the beach and feel the soft sand beneath your feet with every footstep.
You walk towards a sunbed and sit down.
Notice how comfortable it feels as your body sinks into the cushioned bed.
A feeling of relaxation and warmth covers you from head to toe.
You lay down and listen to the waves.
You listen to the waves as they gently come in and go out.
Notice the feeling of calm in your body as you listen to the waves.
You are comfortable in this moment.
The warm sun fills your heart with happiness and peace.
The smell of the ocean filling your body as you breathe in and out.
Allowing yourself to relax deeper and deeper as you breathe in and out.
In this moment,
You are comfortable and you are calm.
Notice the breeze lightly brushing over your skin,
Cooling you down on this bright sunny day.
Take a deep breath and feel yourself sinking into the sunbed below you.
As you exhale,
Allow your muscles to release any tension and sink deeper into this relaxing feeling.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Listen to the waves and allow yourself to drift into this calming moment as you relax here on this warm day at this beautiful beach.
