Hello my sacred friend,
I am Laurie Andress and welcome to the Return to Self and Shine Brightly guided meditation.
For this meditation experience,
I would like to invite you to find a comfortable position and to begin by placing one hand at your heart and one hand at your navel center.
Wonderful.
Now take a nice full inhale through your nose and then exhale when it feels natural through your mouth.
Follow this pattern,
Inhaling through your nose,
Exhaling through your mouth.
Soft,
Gentle,
And rhythmic.
I want to invite you to stay with this pattern of breath throughout this meditation experience.
As you breathe into your heart,
I want to invite you to feel the rhythm of your heart space and to begin to call all of your awareness into that space.
Noticing where your attention and your energy has become distracted or drifted away.
Begin to call it back.
Come back my love,
Come back.
Come back into your heart space.
Bring yourself back to this moment,
Calling yourself to return to you.
As your energy returns,
Love up on it.
Invite it down into your navel center,
Your place of action,
Place of will,
Place of creativity,
Place of emotions.
Begin to visualize all of your energy just taking a sacred seat within this space to nourish you with vitality.
Begin to feel your inner fire,
The energy of light,
The energy of fire that burns within you.
It's natural,
It's always there.
As you call yourself back,
As you take up residence,
As you take a seat within your sacred vessel,
This fire is stoked.
It expands,
It grows,
And it builds its own light.
As that fire warms,
As the light becomes brighter,
It shines brilliantly through every facet of your being.
What you need to do is breathe and be lovingly present just here with you,
Just fully present with what lives within you and shines brilliantly.
I would like to ask this light,
Does it have a message for you?
What is that message?
Allow yourself to receive that,
To welcome that message into your heart,
Into your awareness.
A message to fuel the fire,
To fuel the light even more.
Nice full inhale,
Exhale through your mouth and gently bring your awareness back into this moment,
Back into this space.
Release your hands,
Let them rest in your lap,
And just soften your breath.
Honor yourself with some gratitude.
