Welcome to today's meditation.

My name is Lola Wright,

And I am joined by Brendan Doshi.

Today's practice is an opportunity to fall madly in love with yourself,

To deeply appreciate the brilliance that is you,

To deeply trust that everything in your life has been rightly organized and has led you to this now moment,

To trust that you have come into this time and space with a unique purpose,

Intention,

Or opportunity that only you may fulfill.

Allow this practice to be one that really appreciates,

Loves,

And tends to the brilliance that is right where you are.

You might choose to place a hand on your heart,

Then another hand on your belly,

Creating a somatic experience and relationship to you.

Begin to deepen your breath into your belly.

Invite your body to soften and relax.

If you notice your mind wandering,

Just trust that's exactly what the mind is designed to do.

In any given moment,

You can bring your awareness back to your breath,

As we begin to invoke appreciation for who you are,

As you are.

Let us begin at the level of your personality,

Realizing that is only one dimension of our existence.

What is it about your personality that you deeply appreciate?

Perhaps it is your sense of humor,

Your ability to be present with another being,

Your generous spirit,

Your thoughtfulness.

Begin to bring your awareness to the infinite ways that you contribute to the lives of so many people,

Known and unknown.

Allow yourself to appreciate the many ways in which you are generous.

Begin to bring your awareness to the peaks and valleys of your life,

The twists and turns,

The triumphs and the challenges you have moved through so much.

Would you be willing,

Willing to appreciate yourself for navigating those twists and turns as best you could?

You have always done your best,

And when you've known better,

You've shifted,

You've expanded,

You've grown.

You are an expansive presence,

One that is not fixed or stuck.

One that is evolving and growing.

Allow yourself to feel the magnitude of your greatness.

Begin to bring your awareness to your body,

The incredible ways that it serves you,

The support of your ankles and your knees,

The power of your hips,

The strength of your arms,

The capacity of your heart.

Give yourself the gift of appreciating your body exactly as it is.

Begin to thank yourself,

Appreciate yourself,

Acknowledge yourself for the ways you share your gifts and talents,

The ways you contribute joy and love,

Peace and abundance,

The ways you walk on the planet with grace,

With curiosity,

With wonder.

You are an extraordinary presence.

Allow this sacred time to involve your focused attention on all of the incredible aspects of you.

Would you be willing to thank yourself for that which you do well?

Realizing that you are always doing the best that you can.

Notice as your hands are on your body.

Imagine love radiating from the palms of your hands into every cell of your being.

Say to yourself,

I deeply love and appreciate me exactly as I am.
