When You Need To Come Home To Yourself
by Dr Liz White
A self-compassion meditation for the end of a demanding, emotionally draining, or overstimulating day. It may be especially supportive if anxiety, OCD, or overthinking have kept your mind busy, leaving you feeling depleted or disconnected from yourself. Through a simple self-holding posture, gentle body awareness and quiet reflection, you’ll be invited to soften some of the tension held in your face, jaw, neck and shoulders, and notice what you are feeling without trying to analyse or change it. Rather than asking you to solve anything, this practice offers a quiet transition into the evening - a moment to pause, turn towards yourself with care, and listen to what you might need now.
