A meditation to bring healing light into the body and relax.

Hello and welcome.

This is Lizaia and I will be guiding you through a healing light meditation.

Bring your body into a comfortable seated or laying position.

And take these first couple moments to invite your body into the present moment here and into this meditation.

Making any adjustments so that you feel comfortable and supported.

Tuning in and connecting to how you are feeling as we begin today.

Focusing with your compassionate and curious awareness how you're doing.

Notice what spaces or places in the body already feel relaxed or are relaxing as we're starting our meditation.

And notice if there's any areas of tension or holding.

And invitation to the body to continue to relax and to soften.

Invitation to the mind to bring in ease and spaciousness.

So bring the awareness to the breath,

This gentle and powerful support and ally that the breath is.

And just notice the flow of your inhale and your exhale.

Notice how the body gently lifts and expands on the inhale.

And softens and relaxes on the exhale.

Maybe inviting the breath,

The inhale and the exhale to become a little bit longer or deeper.

So,

Let us begin to invite healing light into the body.

With each inhale,

Breathing in this healing light.

And with each exhale relaxing into this light.

Sensing the light bright and warm,

Nourishing and supportive.

And as we are breathing in this light,

Imagine that it moves through the whole body.

Through every cell,

Muscle and bone,

Through every thought and feeling.

And into the whole nervous system.

And it may be that you would like to imagine a color that you're breathing in with this light.

Could be bright orange or yellow,

The radiant sunlight.

Could be a quieter,

Soothing color.

Maybe like a blue or luscious green.

So that when we breathe in the light and the color of the light start as a seed in the center and then moves out like a raise and touches and fills your entire being.

And we exhale and relax deeper into this light that is surrounding us,

Supporting us and healing us.

Let's continue taking a few breaths here,

Bringing in this radiant healing light to heal and soothe your entire being.

To bring love and care to your whole system.

So choose one area of your body,

Of your being that could use a strong dose of this healing light.

Could be the heart,

Could be the thinking mind,

Could be the belly,

Could be a joint.

So just tune in to your being here and ask what part of me could use this concentrated healing light that I'm working with right now.

And invite your awareness to center around this place.

And let us breathe this healing light directly into this space.

This concentrated,

Strong,

Powerful.

Sensing the warmth of this light,

Seeing the color if you're working with a color.

As we breathe in that light surrounds this area.

And as we exhale the body continues to relax,

To feel supported.

And let's take a few more breaths being right here in this area that wants and needs healing light.

Knowing that this light is abundant and is here for you.

That more healing energy and potential is increasing as we focus this light,

This breath to this space.

And taking a last breath or two here,

Surrounding this space with light and love.

And then with our next few breaths,

Let us expand this light out into the whole body and being again.

Like rays of the sun touching every area,

Every space with soothing light.

And know that this light is here for you.

It's here for us as an ally on our path of wholeness,

Restoring and becoming.

So we are coming to a close here in our meditation.

We'll say an affirmation.

I am happy,

I am healthy,

I am healed,

I am whole.

I am happy,

I am healthy,

I am healed,

I am whole.

And I am filled with healing light.

I am filled with healing light.

So take your time to take a few more breaths here in this restful space.

And as you feel ready,

You can slowly open your eyes.
