So let's begin.
You can do this meditation lying flat on your back.
That's how I'm choosing to do this meditation today.
We're going to be doing a lot of deep breathing,
A lot of focusing on our belly and our breath,
So you might be more comfortable to lay down,
But you don't have to.
The point is to be relaxed,
But also alert.
You can also keep your eyes open if you like,
Focus on a point of interest or a flame or maybe a spot of nature,
Or you can do this meditation with your eyes closed so you can go fully inside your body and tune in.
Again,
There are no hard and fast rules.
What works for you is the best kind of meditation.
So let's take a deep breath in together now,
Kind of eight.
Hold and release.
Deep breath in.
Hold.
Release.
Deep breath in.
Hold.
Release.
Deep breath in.
Hold.
Release.
Hold.
Release.
Hold.
Release.
Hold.
Release.
Hold.
Release.
Hold.
Release.
Hold.
Release.
Deep breath in.
Hold.
Release.
Return now to gentle rhythmic breathing and tune in to how your body feels now at the beginning of the meditation.
Notice any tight areas,
Maybe in your shoulders or your hips,
Your back.
Notice any areas where you don't feel anything.
Now if you're doing this meditation first thing in the morning,
Your body is still in hibernation mode.
It's just now awakening,
Coming alive.
And when you breathe and breathe with intention,
You're able to better fuel your muscles,
Awaken your circuitry,
Your circulation,
Make sure everything is communicating with everything as it should.
Not one inch of your body will be overlooked.
With every breath,
Imagine that you're washing out all toxicity and bringing in health and rejuvenation and life.
Keep breathing.
I want you to take your right hand and place it above your navel and take your left hand and place it below.
With typical breathing,
We tend to stay up in our shoulders or up in our chest,
Especially when we're anxious.
But when we're calm and relaxed,
You'll notice the breath goes all the way down into our belly.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath.
Intentionally move it down into your belly.
Notice the slight movements of your hands as they rise and fall like waves on the sea.
And as you connect more fully to your body,
To yourself,
Imagine sending loving energy not only with your breath,
But directly from your heart space down,
Down into your hips,
Your legs,
To your feet.
Coming back into your heart,
Bringing that loving energy up into your shoulders,
Into your neck,
Up your spine,
To the base of your skull,
Wrapping around your forehead,
Down your eyes,
Your nose,
Your lips,
Down your throat,
Back to your heart,
Emanating out green loving energy throughout your body and in the space around your body.
Keep breathing.
Keep your hands placed in their position and for the next minute or two,
Really go deep.
Feel every movement with every breath.
Release with every out-breath feelings of worry and anxiety.
Understand that it's just your mind trying to stay occupied.
Present disaster,
Worst case scenario.
And understand that the present moment,
The one that you're in right now,
Is all that matters,
Is all that ever matters.
And you have the power to control your breath,
To control how you look at a situation and then move from there,
All within the present moment.
So just breathe.
And when it's time,
I'll bring you back.
And then you'll do a via via.
You You You You You Come back into your body now You can remove your hands from your belly If you're laying down you can roll to one side rest for a moment before you rise up If you're already in a seated position do some gentle neck rolls Definitely grab a glass of water And just notice how different you feel in your body Than when you pressed play if you have a notebook or a journal nearby write down any thoughts that came up for you during this meditation any memories or even just feelings in the center of your chest and opening a cracking of your heart space Hope you have a wonderful day Take this energy that you've just given yourself this positivity and shine it out a world needs it from you more than ever Thank you for doing the work until next time Namaste you
