And the lapis lazuli is the stone of truth and inner wisdom and expression.
Lapis lazuli and amethyst are both very powerful and were favored by ancient alchemists.
So metamorphosing into your truth,
This inner vision,
This new beginning,
This awakening to your truth and new beginnings,
And the sense of expression and joy of being,
I just hear like I'm coming out,
Like Butterfly Lapis Lazuli,
That song that I just hear every summer and it's so great.
So with that,
My Butterfly Lapis Lazuli group,
Let's go ahead and dive on into your reading.
So we have my Butterfly Lapis Lazuli group,
The Seven of Swords in reverse.
The Seven of Swords upright usually talks about a cunning betrayal.
There's this energy of lies and deception.
There is maybe in career,
This energy of jealousy or gossip or finance.
There's a shady business dealing or fraud,
Theft or scam.
So overall,
The Seven of Swords upright is a warning to be careful of lies and deceitful people and deceitful situations.
But when it comes to the reversed,
It's usually the ending of playing games,
The dropping pretension,
Truth coming to light,
Liars being exposed in a consequence of actions,
Consequences of dishonesty.
So this could be a call that it may be time to face the truth or take responsibility for behavior.
Or it could be a call that if you have been the betrayee,
If you have been the person that has been betrayed,
This is the call that things come to light.
The truth always comes to light.
There is simple truth that gravity exists and the Earth revolves around the sun and all of these truths,
All of these truths that we could talk about,
Like I'm here right now speaking to the butterfly lapis lazuli group,
That is a truth.
But then there is truth of perception or what could be your truth,
Your truth could be I never hurt anyone or I never betrayed anyone.
And something may come up where someone may say,
But you're betraying yourself.
Can't you see you're betraying yourself with this,
For example,
You may feel you're betraying yourself when it comes to doing extra work for other people.
One of my closest friends of many years felt she was betraying herself.
She used to work at the front desk while we were in university at the college dorms and she would always take everyone's shifts.
And in the beginning,
She was super happy because she said,
I make a lot of money.
But after a while,
She became the go to if someone didn't feel like working a shift on a Friday night or a Saturday morning or a Sunday morning,
She would be the go to girl and she got sick of it.
And she once said,
I feel like I'm betraying myself.
I feel like I'm lying to myself that it's about the money.
But in reality,
It's I'm just being the yes person to everyone.
I'm just enabling everyone.
So it could be that,
You know,
We may see ourselves one way and then a revelation may come up where we realize,
Oh,
Oh,
This truth and this perception that I have is changing.
This could also be the card of if you were betrayed in the past,
Karma is coming to that person.
Don't worry.
Or it could be that you met someone who is being deceitful and lying and you may be so frustrated.
You may see like,
When is this person going to face the reality of life,
Face that they are a liar?
You don't have to worry about that.
The universe takes care of all of that because there's one thing that cannot be denied and it's the truth.
So with the butterfly lapis lazuli,
It's so perfect for you,
My friends,
Because butterfly metamorphosis and evolution and change and beauty and freedom and lapis lazuli,
Which is the stone of truth and power and intuition and magic and manifestation,
All of that is this metamorphosis into truth.
Spirit is asking you,
Where can we begin to release lying to ourselves and lies in general?
Where can we stop cheating ourselves?
When can we stop allowing others or enabling others to be the cheaters?
And that's the call,
Really.
It's like,
Hey,
Stop pretending,
Stop being cunning.
You're not as cunning as you think you are.
The truth always comes out.
The truth not only sets you free.
The truth is.
The truth is.
So my lapis lazuli butterflies,
Trust in your truth,
Trust in your truth,
Trust in the truth,
And also be open to having your truth change,
Your perception of truth change.
You may see,
For example,
Last thing I used to grow up and see my mother very much as the victim in her relationship with my father and my father being the villain.
And as I got older and turned into an adult,
I realized,
Oh,
This is way more complicated.
This is enabling.
This is feeding gasoline into the fire.
There's a little bit of masochism happening here.
There's a little bit of sadism happening here.
There's this strange,
Almost symbiotic relationship where there are no villains and heroes in this story.
There just is messiness.
And that's a perception that I had.
That was my truth.
I hung on to it for a while.
My dad,
The villain,
My mom,
The martyr.
And I eventually began to realize,
No,
No,
Actually,
In truth,
When you look at all the truth,
It can be a messy,
Toxic situation that just feeds off each other sometimes.
So so with that,
My friends,
My journal question for you is,
What is my truth when it may come to something in my life that I'm open to having it change?
It could be I think I'm never wrong,
But I'm open to being wrong.
If we are the type to betray ourselves or cheat ourselves,
How can we metamorphosize?
How can we free ourselves from the lies?
What are those lies that are making us cheat and lie to ourselves?
And how can we begin to release those lies?
How can we begin to say,
You know what,
These narratives that I have,
They're making me cheat myself.
They're making me lie to myself.
How can I become like the butterfly,
Honor the truth,
Metamorphosize and release those lies?
How can I metamorphosize and honor my truth and release those lies if I feel that I'm lying and cheating?
And last journal question is,
Anyone that may have hurt you or betrayed you,
If you feel that their lies came to the surface,
How does it make you feel?
Because the truth is very easy to run away from.
It's hard.
It's hard.
It's hard to run away from the facts.
Right.
But it's such an instinct.
Like we want to like,
Oh,
No,
I don't want to see it.
I don't want to see like,
You know,
When you have a really huge crush on someone because they're so attractive to you and you don't want to see all the dark stuff.
