Welcome to day 6 of making this your best year yet.

Today we focus on self-compassion.

Being kind to ourselves is the most powerful thing you can do for your own growth.

When we treat ourselves with love,

We're better able to show up for others and for our goals.

Sit comfortably and take a deep breath.

Close your eyes and allow your body to relax.

Think about a recent situation where you were hard on yourself.

Perhaps you made a mistake or didn't meet an expectation.

Now imagine you are offering kindness and understanding to a dear friend who's going through the same thing.

What would you say to them?

Now write down a compassionate statement you can say to yourself when you're feeling down.

For example,

I am doing the best I can and I am worthy of love and compassion.

How does it feel to extend that compassion to yourself?

Self-compassion nurtures resilience and helps us move forward without harsh judgment.

Let's affirm our self-compassion.

Take a deep breath and repeat after me.

I treat myself with love and compassion,

Especially in times of difficulty.

Inhale deeply and exhale slowly.

Carry this kindness with you today and beyond.
