Welcome in.
As an empath,
Your nervous system naturally senses emotions and energy around you.
This can leave you feeling very scattered.
Energetically full.
I'm Lisa.
And today I'm going to guide you through a very calming.
Yogic breathing practice.
Called nadi shodhana or alternate nostril breathing.
When you're ready,
Place yourself in a comfortable seated position.
With a nice long spine.
Relax your shoulders back.
And allow your left palm to be face up,
Resting on your leg.
Bring your right palm right in front of the nose.
Resting your thumb on the right nostril.
Resting the ring finger.
On the left nostril Place your index and middle finger lightly on the forehead.
If it feels comfortable,
Softly.
Close the eyes.
Exhale everything out of the body through the mouth to begin.
Closing the right nostril.
Inhale through the left.
Close the left,
Exhale through the right.
Inhale right.
Close the right,
Exhale left.
Inhale left.
Close the left,
Exhale right.
Inhale right.
Close the right,
Exhale left.
Inhale left.
Close the left,
Exhale right.
Beginning to feel a sense of calmness wash over you.
Inhale right.
Close the right,
Exhale,
Left.
Inhale left.
Close the left,
Exhale right.
Inhale right Close the right,
Exhale,
Left.
Inhale left.
Close the left,
Exhale right.
Inhale right Close the right,
Exhale,
Left.
One more round on your own letting go of any heaviness,
Of any stress.
With every exhale Exhale right.
And once you complete your last round,
Gently release that right hand down at your leg.
And take a breath in through both nostrils filling up all the way.
And exhale through both nostrils.
And bring your hands over your heartbeat.
Breathing here,
Feeling that sense of equanimity,
That sense of balance again as we called back our energy.
So important as sensitive souls.
To care for our energy body.
Come back to wholeness.
And to come back to this sense of peace.
And then softly,
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
I hope this left you feeling peaceful.
With a deep sense of balance.
And remember this is such a powerful tool for every empath.
Keep it in your back pocket.
You can do it just a few minutes.
During the day or at the end of your day.
To bring you back to wholeness and peace within.
Thank you so much for practicing with me.
Namaste.
I'll see you in the next class.
