Finding a quiet space to get comfortable,
Relax,
And taking a few deep,
Gentle breaths as we breathe in love and breathe out fear.
Breathing in,
I know I am with God,
With love.
Breathing out,
I release fear,
My ego mind,
My useless thoughts that judge or attack.
Breathing in,
I seek peace.
Breathing out,
I release suffering.
So I invite you to place a hand against your heart,
Knowing that the awakened heart inside you is your true home.
Just allowing yourself to listen to the words from the Course in Miracles around what truly keeps you safe and how truly you are blessed.
So breathing in and out of your heart now,
Seeing if you can feel the spirit of love breathing in and out of your heart.
So as I breathe out fear,
It disappears as I breathe in love.
Where fear has gone,
Love must come.
I know that I am blessed.
I know deep down in my heart that I am safe and I lack nothing.
And I choose in this moment to remember I am blessed.
I am cared for.
I am safe.
I was deceived to think that what I feared was in the world instead of in my mind.
My attack or judging thoughts make me vulnerable.
But safety is the complete release of those thoughts.
So I invite you now to put into your heart whatever you think,
To put into your heart whatever you think makes you safe in this world,
Not God's world but this world.
Whether it be people doing what you think they should be doing,
People complying with the rules in society.
Maybe it's some kind of medication or being pain-free or health,
Perfectly healthy or having a perfect situation or person in your life.
And where you have grievances with these things.
And by thinking if I hold a grievance or I attack with a judging thought that somehow I'll be safe,
I'll be okay.
Or if I defend myself or my position or argue with someone,
I'll be safe.
Or if I control a particular situation,
Then I'll be safe.
Whatever yours is in this moment,
Just choose one that might come to mind that happens for you chronically and hold it in your heart.
And talk to it in this loving way by saying I know you feel this way or think this way.
I understand.
I hear you.
I get it.
And then tell yourself from your wiser spirit self that this is an illusion of your safety.
This is not where your safety lives.
Your safety lives in truth,
In God,
In love.
So say into yourself and into your heart,
In truth I am safe.
God is my safety in all circumstances.
I am invulnerable,
Fearless.
I am of God.
I am of love.
Love is my safety.
Love-ness is my safety.
My present trust directs the future and God goes with me wherever I go.
I choose no longer to be in competition with God's mind.
I choose to be one with it in its holiness and its blessing.
And I allow myself to be blessed and remember I am blessed around whatever situation I have a grievance towards,
Whether it be myself or other people.
I remember that I am blessed.
I am holy.
And I offer this blessing to others,
To my brothers and sisters who are holy with me.
I do not need to attack or judge them.
I will bless them.
I will see the miracle in them.
I will see that we all are safe and have what we need.
My defenses will not work,
But I am not in danger.
I have no need of defenses.
My safety lies with God.
So,
Take a moment or two now to just feel what it would feel like to truly be safe in the arms of the beloved God,
Your beloved source,
Creator,
Your home.
To let go of this world and all its beliefs about what is safe and what isn't,
Of what people should or shouldn't do or what you should or shouldn't have done or should be.
Let it all go.
Let go of everything and fall into the embrace of God's peace and care for you and the power that lies there,
That is beyond fear and only of love.
You are so blessed and so loved.
Remember this and you are free.
Amen.
